By my opinion, Carlos, judge is Halcro, although I never heard it... Bruce Candy have clear in his head... Any listening impresion, any two transistors miracle, only right high fidelity.... 😉

the mosfet voltage follower is my circuit (though there is a similar one by Andrea Ciuffoli), but I had designed it as a starting project for DIY beginners, the project that can give quite good sound. I do have some objections to this circuit and its sound, and do not consider it to be a top amplifier. Both Symasym and PM-AB1 are better amps, IMHO. Better, that means not only some + and -, as we have spoken about comparison of excellent amplifiers.

The tweeter for my current speakers are Raven R1's. They are generally considered very clean and smooth and I detect no added harshness with the Symasym.
My ears are 55 and very likely worse than yours. But all I can do is determine how well the system tricks me into believing that the musicians are in my room or, less often, that I am at the venue. So how good is the illusion and how well do I hear individual instruments, and does it make me happy (or sad), and am I listening to the system or simply hearing the musid? It's quite possible that there are bad sounds outside of my hearing range and I simply don't detect them. But my wife, who hears better than I, commented that they sound very clear - and she usually doesn't say anything. I would have to get some younger ears around here to determine that.

I also play with my new Ultracurve. It is a digital equalizer, in case you don't know, designed to correct room+loudspeakers acoustics. I think that such corrections may play a far more important role than switching from an amplifier to another (of course we are talking about good amplifiers). The only thing is, I am not still completely sure that such a device will keep the original "musicality" and deeper qualities of music. It is like a heavily painted woman's face: it may seem beautiful externally but you have a feeling that beauty is artificial! I don't know, I am still experimenting with it! Somehow I am against making music chain longer, and I like simplicity. If I achieve something good with Ultracurve, I'll keep it. Else...

Was my effort to win that fear that was turning me ashamed ...shaking my bonds only to go to a Dentist.
Since i face the pain without chemical help, my fear stopped, as i perceive that the pain was possible to control, i had that idea and i put it into test..... was hard and my hands had pains for days because i hold one each other with all the strengh i had, to control de pain.... i sent some pain to hands.... since that day i go laughing to dentist....but i still hate that motor.
Now i use the amnestesic.... the injections, and i asked to go deep and hudge quantity....having sure that will be easy with that help, as i had win my worst fear feelings.
Was a shame for me to go to dentist....everybody could see that i was shaking.
In the army i had fear of high places...had to cross over a very thin piece of concrete..... a vertical concrete piece, to walk, 20 foot above the ground...and soft sand under, to the ones that fall down...some of them broke legs because of that.... with rifle, and all that military aparatus... helmet and all sings... that 8 inches "bridge" was terrible to me too..... i gone there one day before.... and i cross it with my stomach touching it.... crossed in vertical position many times...then i could cross it by foot.
The next day, when i receive the order to cross, i could made it more relaxed, as i had prove to myself that i was able to win my worst fears.....terrible those things, and worst that we have to face...we cannot run from dentist and from Military obligations.
Dtriff, your heatsink is pretty and very good in size, i felt very happy to see that i am wrong, that you amplifier is working fine, sounding great and giving you the pleasure you deserve.

Yes but they look like just before the onboard 2.5A fuses. I probably will just use 1 additional (maybe 2) fuses before the Transformer.
You must use both : One before transformer ( T ) and two after PS ( F ), near as possible to filtration ( they protect also against falling wire... ).

Yes, Brazil Northeastern part have environment temperature that is always near 30 degrees centigrades...in the winter, the temperature goes down to 28 degrées.
We do not use shirts inside our homes.... too much hot for that... when we go to street we use, of course, but this is changing...now a days you can enter Buses, trains,subway and taxis without shirt...i do not like that...but people use do to that.
Of course.... places were you have not the wind, that is always flowing from the beach, will be more hot.... under sunligth, some places can reach 40 degrees.
Also.... cold nigths happens, and we usually face "frozzen" fifty degrees centigrades.
My country is very large....in the extreme south....border with Argentina... temperature goes near zero ...and average there is 20 degrees...but they also have 30 degrees in some places.
Our girls use shirts.... very soft cloth used to allow air flow.... and of course..."eye flow too".
I ensure you that is a very nice place...but only for the natives...if you arrive here will go to hospital...burned alike a red pepper.
