A little better. There is also conducted EMI/RFI on ground and signal lines. The vertical shield might help some though. However, if you put the board in a metal case then reflection of radiated EMI/RFI off the inside of the top of the case might make the vertical shield wall less effective.
I use a solid CNC aluminum case that fits the board, so the shielding effect is more effective
 
it's also a very good option, but for me the power supply doesn't need to be super low noise.,just split the multiple lines so they don't interfere with each other.
Sound companies too, they do not use extremely low noise sources, too low noise sometimes makes the sound boring.
