By 'reclocking' I assume you mean FIFO buffering, galvanic isolation, and reclocking? That's what FIFO_Pi does. There are some other products kind of like that out there too, such as, for example, TheWellAudio stuff.
My understanding is that even after going to all that effort, they have still found some problems with radiated emissions that can get by everything, thus requiring shielding to fix that remaining problem.

Allo Boss, Allo digione, Allo katana, hifiberry dac plus, hifiberry digi+. i2s have all been reworked thanks to the i2c external clock communicating with the pi, if using i2s and the clock from these Hat DACs to another, it also gives very good results.
Yeah, Allo sent me a Katana too. It sounded best with the optional Shield/isolation board between it and the RPi. Later when they came out with USBridge Sig, then the shield board wasn't needed, or at least some people preferred the sound without it. Anyway, we found out Katana sounded better with better power supplies.
All this talk about Allo and ESS dacs aside, I don't use them anymore. Now using discrete resistor DSD-only dacs with conversion of PCM to DSD. Like the sound of that a lot better.

measurement is sometimes just a frivolity, even though the allo katana has better specs than the boss dac i see most reviews the boss dac the first version sounds better than the katana dacYeah, Allo sent me a Katana too. cdsgames said he thought Katana was the best dac they ever made. But it was ESS based with the ESS sound. Not everyone prefers that sound. Some people like AKM, or like other dacs.
Good DSD dacs are becoming more and more popular. HQ Player is popular. J River and Roon have their own software PCM to DSD converters, etc. There is a reason for that popularity IMHO, its not just a fad.

i took i2s from CT7302CL to es9018k2m it completely fixed the problem without i2c of es9018, it plays DSD dop and 16bit without errorAs I said SRC alone won't fix it. CT7302CL needs to be configured with I2C. AK4137 can be configured in parallel mode ("HW" mode) but most existing boards use I2C. So most probably you need a MCU as well.
Got this Double SE9038q2m out of curiosity and it wasn't special until I put 4 LT3045 regs in it. Now It's on par with my AKM 4493 that has the same regs. Both units still have there stock output stage. My transformer out AKM 4493 and 4495 units have a bit more resolution and sound more analog like. Dynamics are better with SE9038q2m. Spacial
representation is also a tad better with SE9038q2m. Next step will be adding Walt Jung transimpedance AD811 stage. Courious where this will get me.
I was shocked how good Bluetooth with the LDAC Codec sounds. That Qualcomm QCC5125 chip is a major step forward. Only very good usb implementations can compete. Yes I am serious.
I am most courious how the I2S over HDMI will sound.
All this for €114 delivered is really amazing.
Photo of stock unit.
ESS hump is already addressed by the red Wima caps.
Oszillator respoded really well to clean power.

How would Wima caps help against ESS IMD hump?ESS hump is already addressed by the red Wima caps.
That was a remedy for Khadas Tone Board. Not universal and not necessarily appropriate for NE5532. Also it does not remove the ESS IMD hump but lowers it below noise floor in dacs that have elevated noise floor.
i didn't see voltage divider for VREF in this picGot this Double SE9038q2m out of curiosity and it wasn't special until I put 4 LT3045 regs in it. It seems to fit this board they have chosen the very values. But we know that doesn't necessarily mean allot with most Chinese manufacturers. That was a remedy for Khadas Tone Board. Sorry, my memory of ASR "hump fixes" had faded. The fix you refer to was made for Soncoz dacs and the later totally different fix to Khadas Tone Board. Neither of the fixes removes the hump but makes it lower. Your board does not follow the Soncoz fix either so without measurements it is impossible to say if it has the hump.
I have not properly traced out the unit around the DACs. Stupid me because my hasty approach just seemed to have killed the DACs. When do I ever learn to be patient. Coming from exclusively modding AKM based units I thought I knew what I was doing.i didn't see voltage divider for VREF in this pic
Maybe someone can chime in and explain how vref is handled with ess double DACs.
I was eager to give each channel it's own supply. I did the following:
Ok Radian, i found voltage divider (yellow circle) but this board has only 2 LDO 3.3v regulator for 2 9038s (red rec). Poor setup
Since left and right channels of one chip is summed I can't see why having only one reg would be of great concern.
At least we know now that poor design does not necessarily mean poor sound.
