I will email. What is your address again? I lost my email address from which I last emailed you. Long story...
My output tubes are original Genelex KT88s. I have three or four other output tubes I can try, including RCA 6L6GC, but I do really like the KT88s.

I haven't tried that yet. I will tomorrow-tonight is KMNO night.Does it move with one of the tubes if you switch them from left to right (one pair at a time)?
I am not sure I understand this. Are you suggesting the output tube can damage the FET?For sure one of the the FET damaged
You need to test your output tube or buy a new pair 6L6GC
Victor, is it safe to put a new (or different) output tube in, or can the damaged FET also damage a new tube? (The FET is part of the bias regulation circuit, right?)
(Correction: the FET is part of the ripple filter in the anode voltage circuit, not of the automatic grid bias adjustment circuit.)

the drive tube will not damage the FET
You must replace the FET ti solve your hum issue

Thanks again for your guidance, Victor.
I am curious about your opinion on tubes for this amp. I have been running vintage KT88, but is seem I have to take them out of service. What is your opinion on: KT88, 6550, 6L6GC in this amp?
I have the JJ 6L6GC that came with the amp in now. They do sound mighty fine.
FWIW, my driver tubes are Sylvania 6189.
