if You have 90v and 90v thats 180v 50hz lets say 1 amp
if You have 90v 100hz You will have 2 amps of power because its double the frequency
You will have the same power as 180v on 50hz
DOnt worry Audiosan I am way more into electronics than this amplifier thing

jizes. you know what? just live in this little world of Your own calculations and dream away. one day reality will hit you and you will be very disappointed.

Im not dissapointed and I know what Im saying like I said Im way more into electronics that You think
Doubling the frequency doubles the power
If You think Your calculation is right go for it I dont want to argue because I know what is doubling the frequency and power

Netkis, it is an ac signal that moves plus and minus 90 volts from ground, think of a sinewave. At any point in time it can only be at plus or minus 90 volts, from that point you can calculate the power dissipated. I hope my explanation is clear.

Then Why they use 1200watt +/-90v transformer to get only 350watts rms at 8 ohm and they say its 800w rms amplifier output and use 3000watts of transistor power? For only 350w rms at 8 ohm? strange
Why didnt they make amplifier to work at +/- 160 volts and say thats 800w rms
I didnt see amplifier design in my life that says power amplifier 8ohm 800w rms use +/-160volts
