in the reality they are micro transistors, duas transistors only, but they are NPN, so, to use them i have to change my design.
Also, i use to create amplifiers not only to my own use, my pleasure is to share, and these are, let's say, custom parts, special and hard to find (maybe) parts..so, i will complicate in the place to simplify my people life.
Reason why, despite lovely gift from Taj, became also a problem, how to use them..where to use them ad why to use them.
It is hard to hold, hard to see..very small bugs, see the picture, the comparison with the microphone..i know Eva, for you may be giant, but you seem to have 25 years old..i am an old bear.

Almost this quality is what i am listening in my home..i have more bass and much more treble, but the sonics is almost the same.

12500uf to each rail is enougth to one channel
If you're using a single supply (means less separation and worse sound stage) then install 25000uf to 30000uf each rail, total of 50 to 60 thousand microfarads... insulating voltage can be 35 volts, and you do not need to use more voltage than that, not really needed to use 50 volts, the electrolitic condenser factory already made them to face, at least, 20 percent more...so, you have safe operation up to 42 volts, do not worry about that, i am doing that these last 49 years and i had no condenser exploded because of that.
My condensers have explode because invertion only.
If you are able to send pictures, from you and from board, i will be very happy, also tell me if your picture can be published or not...the board will be, for sure will be.

All the parts that I use can be found at online stores like digi-key and others.
Local stores sell mostly fakes of the parts that you use, both in Spain and probably in Brazil.
btw: My amplifier does around 2800W on 4 ohm with 13200uF single rail. How would you explain that? 😀

You see, no reviser could find that bug, also i could not, several guys could not
watching the picture is a hell clear a 150K resistance, a big one, left upper side, and this is a rarity in transistorized circuits, normal to tubes, but super strange to transistors, we do not use this value, not common, and never so big that way!
You see, the revisers, those folks loves to help (or give one on you) have not observed that.
My friend that made the board, was a gift!, he sent me this way, i have not bothered, i felt the resistance pretty, and i have installed in the place, bellow the board there's the 15 ohms resistance, they are in parallel, so the value will be slightly reduced, and this is not a problem there.
I have keept that to see the revisers, no one could see.
This shows, this proves, without any doubts, that we all, humans, make mistakes, and also that we can "watch without see things"...this is very good to think about and to reduce the pride and Ego, because we are just humans,nothing more than humans, in less than 70 years we will be sand...observe this to be more friendly and kind during your small stay in this world (if exists other)
the zobel filter, using 150K means it was deactivated, so, a killing thing to an amplifier that HAD, in the early moments of life, troubles with oscilation, you see, if someone between the devil's crew could see that, anyone of them have helped maybe they let me huck myself , so, you see we have some sweet devils in the forum too.... but they taste alike salt and pepper

Sorry, what I was trying to say is that 12500uF is probably enough for a whole stereo amplifier at +/-35V 😉 Not much more music output is gained by using even 10 times more.

People are broking my appartment searching for watter leakage that is bothering a very friendly old woman that lives my appartment, watter goes in drops falling down directly over her head when using that thing, in the waterclosed..that pot people sit over....not only boring but humilliating sittuation for her..
This is driving me mad, becasuse dirty thing and noise also, the people i could find to do the job does not know exactly, with sure, where is the leakage source, so, they're breaking a lot of ceramics, problem there is not only cost, ceramics alike mine does not exist anymore, my appartment will finish alike a circus, multi coloured.... my ceramics were made down the eigthies, and they have to provide spare parts for 5 years only...so...no more ceramics.

Ahahahah, there are friends asking the same, one have built a demolition
DHR Turbo, he made using 90 volts simetrical, and made two.
Then he has installed an inverter, a single stage to invert phase and those two are pumping (bombing) in bridge mode.... EINEN HAUS KAPUT machinen, something to destroy the house... this monster amplifier is having 120 volts RMS minimum, undistorted, and can produce more...he is loosing because of the supply.... this means, the monster can put out, 3600 in 4 ohms, he is using 60 power output transistors and all stuff is cooled using big fans.
hehehe, something very animal i think.... do you want to BLACK your vision with thunder sound, go to the DHR Turbo thread, assemble that animal, install by yourself the phase inverter and create a demolition company!

I use what i have readed in Doctor Self and some others books, alike Duncan and more two or three that i do not even remember..ah!...Slone, and two more from Italy.
They use to say that we need 5000uf to each ampere, Dx Standard, also Dx Blame ES maximum consumption is 2.5A each rail, so, this results in 12500uf each rail to each power amplifier.
This is correct, was checked, i have injected sinusoidal 8 hertz tone, no one can listen rigth?, so, if you listen noises when increasing volume, noises from 50 or 60 hertz mains, then your filters are not holding the job, the supply is no good and when you ask for power, even bellow the clipping power, you can listen mains frequency that will polute, will make dirty, will be mains tone together your bass tones..... i found 12.500uf reasonable for that purpose and this have confirmed what i have readed.
About Emperor clothes tail, well, people was fooling the emperor, and he accepted that not to be perceive as an idiot that could not see the clothing that was so rich, and only clever people could see.

his own risks, he has increased the number of power output transistors, increased heatsink for VAS, increased electrolitic condenser's insulating voltage, also some values in the supply for instance, also have increased to 5600 ohms the zener (1 Watt zener) feeding resistance, the one use to be 2K2 or 3K4, and even 4K7 depending the supply voltage used..the reference is 2K2 for 35 volts rail, so, 4K4 for 70 volts rails and so on......
He calculated the bootstrapp resistances, and have increase them, obbeing the proportion, the ratio, the percentual of increased voltage.

I have not " L " adaptor for a while, reason why i am not in a hurry about this one, i have already two units operating that i can listen.
But was checked.... attention!, bias trimpot, my home, with 42 volts supply, was adjusted to 280 ohms...your home may be the same, because i have more voltage but i have compensated the current, bootstrapp was adjusted to have same current, so, VBE multiplier is working with the same current too.

This one is playing since yesterday..during the nigth was connected to a resistive
load.
Now playing low volume, and will be increase to maximum undistorted as soon as time goes passing... 8 AM we can start to make noises in my country, no one can complain about that.
Bias was adjusted to 4.4 volts over 100 ohms protective resistance, off set is 10 to 11 milivolts if i remember (I have three, and they use to have 13 milivolts without tweeking to reduce.... 13 is fine, till 25 it is OK!)
So, bias is 44 miliamperes to each rail, everybody there cool, no signs of oscilation, you can put your finger in the input and pure mains frequency is heard, clean, without noises or high frequency tones..amplifier super stable, i have installed 2.2uf and worked fine, nothing changed in the sound, no oscilations measured, felt or perceived monitoring consumption and heat.
I could make this one have more bass, because input condensers and capacitors resulted in 14 uF.... bass is better, more present than before, so this is the most simple bass increasing we can have..also i have reduced my power emitter resistances to 0,1 ohm... all other values standard as the schematic, the enlarge board was aproved too..everything fine, everything all rigth, sound is the best possible, treble is the world best treble i could listen, no power on thump, just the pulse because you flip a switch and this cause disturbances.
The board, using the official dimensions, or, not enlarged, worked fine yesterday too, the last board version with the last updated schematic worked fine and had only to tweek the bias trimpot to 330 ohms (his case) and he had 30ma each channel and 10 milivolts of set too.
Be happy, build one for you.
