remote control functions:
- for the first time you need to pair your remote with the MCU, press "menu" + "right arrow key" at the same time on the remote control for at least 6 seconds, "IR OK" message pops up on the screen, then release both keys and pairing is complete, if no message appear try to attempt several times
- left/right arrows are volume control
- top arrow is source switch
- bottom arrow is filter switch
- menu button changing setting of the MCU
- mute button is mute
- middle button confirming commands
any other questions shoot...

I have both dac kit...single ak4490 with modified output stage tps7a4700 regulators and single not dual ak4495. Both are wery similar sounded. Output opamps are lme49990 and Ada4898. Have you any information if the constructor will make Ak4497 dac?

in case of use of AK4137 board you need to set jumper J09, J10 and J11 look at Dual chip online mode (left channel) configuration under "set reference: (AK4118 plate /4137 plate) " on the bottom of the page, all other jumpers stays open (disconnected)
IR diode is located on LCD screen module sold with AK4137 board, I can send you picture of it if you want...
as mentioned earlier there is no functional difference between the boards and if you plan to use AK4137 upsampling capabilities you better invest in better quality oscillators and it's PSU than USB module as every incoming signal including USB will be recklocked with AK4137 chip and it's own oscillators, I can recommend this ULN PSU, one line for oscillators and second for DAC board, in case of opamp PSU I will use this one

in terms of PSU, my plan was following:
- 60W R-core transformer with 2x15V and 2x9V
- 1x9V supplying MCU board, MCU board contains LM7805 pre-reg which I plan to change for better one with higher current >1.5A, MCU board will supply 5V into digital part of AK4495 board, will keep those 3xADP151 where they are
- 1x9V supplying 2xLT3042, one 3.3V for oscillators on MCU (bypassing current ADP151 next to oscillators) board and one 7V for analog part of AK4495 board (bypassing those LT1763 regs)
- 2x15V supplying TPS7A4700 +/-15V for opamp stage, of course you can use LT3042 for it but make sure your AC won't exceed in any case 20V otherwise you'll damage reg chip, that's why it's safer to use TPS7A4700 for higher voltages...

There is a problem for playback DSD. He normally plays only in ASIO native. With drivers Wave IO. In DOP mode & LINUX there is a noise when switching.

Anyone actually having build the dual AK4495 board as the analogue filter seems very strange as it not symmetrically?
Anyone having tried this board 768kHz/32Bit AK4495SEQ DAC, I2S/DSD input - DIYINHK and connected it to the AK4137 board...DIYINHK seems easier to connect the right ultra low psu and get direct access to the output of the DAC if you want til make your output filter..
