Needs a little attention ( The case for sure )

What, you don't like the wood?
It definitely needs more caps. 😉

I know nothing 🤷♂️
It’s called RATA integrated .
Paul Hynes ( allegedly) and Russ Andrews

60wpcSo what is it?
Judging by size of the heat sinks of TO3 transistors, the maximum power output is about 10W per channel.
How much voltage do you get at the filter cap? Based on the size of the heat sink, it should be class b. From the supply voltage, you can get the theoretical max power.
If you were to drop the VA of the transformers from 500 VA to 60 VA (at the same no load voltage) the power capability of the amp would drop from 60 wpc to 30 due to excessive sag.
60 watts per channel simply sounds like it has more bass, when 30 is driven to clipping to produce the desired level.

Gee Andy, you do find some weird and wonderful gear over there in your part of the world. Russ Andrews - now there is a name from the UK past, is he still around and involved in the industry?
Hello Gary , good to hear from you, hope all is well.
Yes Russ Andrews is still around, he’s been quite helpful with regards to this Unicorn of an amp .
The amp sounds absolutely wonderful, in fact I’d go so far as to say it’s like the holy grail with the sound it produces.

All fine here Andy, but HOT - oh well it is Summer after all down under.
Enjoy the RATA amp, I hope the Stasis 2 is still behaving and sounding better than ever.
Gary.

The Stasis is 100% reliable mate and sounding good, i have been trying to sell but buyers want it for next to nothing, it’s now stored away since the Rata came along.
