Here is a quick measurement taken from my baffle array at my listening position, with only small dsp adjustments...Impressive, would you call it a “baffle array”

Hi
The 2 disubs use Peerless 12 inch woofers (4) the 12 midwoofers are Dynavox dy103-9a, the midhigh units are B&G Neo 8s,

That’s an impressive measurement. What amp are you using. Here is a quick measurement taken from my baffle array at my listening position, with only small dsp adjustments...
Hi
I am using an active set-up, RPi with Peppymeter, Yamaha AV amp used as pre-amp, Thel audio 3 way analog active X-over, Marantz MM7025 and MM7055 as poweramps.
Cheers, Tom.

dB scale is rather wide and coarse... Is that 1m outdoor or room spot, single speaker I guess?
dsp is essential for obs!

Experts are baffled. 😉Impressive, would you call it a “baffle array”
Ok... so would this also apply to the LX Mini since there isn't really any baffle?I hate to break it to you, but you can make a great OB with a circular baffle if the baffle diameter is less than about twice the driver diameter.
Optimal baffle size depends on frequency. Starting from top, tweeter actually does not need any baffle. Likely just a frame. Upper mid similarly, very small baffle is best. However, going lower, to midbass, significant cancelation and dipole peak can make fr response uneven, so some baffle is better than none. When it comes to lowest frequencies, the bigger the baffle, the better. Some tried it without, there is severe loss of output. Like kyron audio gaia. Even with 6 woofers they later decided to add closed sub. I use two 15" per side configured as emerald physics tandem dipole. Still eq required. But ob bass is better sounding to me than closed boxes in other systems i have. See NaO Note for inspiration or lx521.
