I hate floods.

I bet you do. Hope things aren't too bad for you there. The news reports are looking pretty bleak.

We are OK and dry, though I spent all weekend moving my audio gear up from the basement to be sure. Roads are out, some phone lines, etc. Yeah, it's pretty bad.

How much was Boulder Canyon? I remember when it was all zoned as a flood zone except if you were one of the "special" bosses in Boulder and somehow they got zoning approved right in the canyon.

I miss Boulder.

There was massive damage in all the canyons, from Golden to Ft. Collins. Not sure when you were here, but there are many buildings and residences built in the flood plain. Those folks have to get extra flood insurance and in some cases are not allowed to have children in the residence.

They are best taken with a pinch of salt whereas the Capt of the late lamented Cruise ship is best with a few barrels full - preferably dropped from some height.

Contract went to an Italian (Micoperi) & American (Titan) combination. (preliminary work of getting the nasties out was cheese)

Getting it up in 1 go is quite an undertaking, reason I'm still up.
They're already way past the critical angle, so it appears a success, very impressive.(that, I don't hate)
