Do you know what I hate?

My hate, which i'm sure that many will agree: I hate it when after doing heaps of research, reading reviews etc., i purchase the item only to find out shortly afterwards that a better item has been released with better features and a lower price, I really hate that!

I am the opposite.
I like doing old time projects like amplifiers from the 70's or valve amplifiers.
Its satisfying when you get it to work even better than the original ever did.

I hate running out of solder so bad, I wrap a bunch of it around the cord of my Iron, so where goes my Iron, goes the solder..............when I remember to wrap the solder around the Irons cord.....

I hate it when there's only 7 boards left to test, and your doin the ppdance
tryin' to finish. Knowing you are the last tech in the lab (which ain't yours)
and the doors gonna lock behind if you dash for the john. And you can't get
back in till next week...

Our lab does secret stuff so it's badge access only. You can't even get into the building without the badge, so lab access isn't hard.

The spreadsheet pushers have the building computer turn off the lights after 7PM and set AC up to 80 degrees. That means about 85 degrees with 5 temperature chambers running in a small lab.

The emergency light in the bathroom has been dead for years, and they wonder why the floor is wet and sticky in the morning.

I hate only few things...
Playing PC games for 48 hours without eating and then i have to go to shop...
Same with big projects, i just run out of energy...
I just keep doing what i do in deep deep mindwork cant think about anything else...
And second thing.. smoking. I smoke, im addicted and i hate it!

I get addicted very easily, alcohol... cant drink it or else im in trouble.
I dont want to! nooooooooooooooooooooo!

Got one to add. Lack of specs.
Not only does newer equipment list things like tuner specs as "88 to 106Mhz" (what about capture ratio etc? ) but even in the manuals it has things like +12V trigger out, but nothing on how much current it can supply. If an input, what is the lower tolerance? 10V? 5V? IR in, but noting on which is tip and sleeve, or if it is powered to actually drive a sensor. Then you ask the tech support and 4 or 5 times later, you may get a partial or incorrect answer. Ask for a schematic to figure it out yourself? Right. OPPO could not tell me, so I had to buy their expensive external sensor and tape a flasher to it. I have yet to get the rear IR in to my Emo to work. "Works with Xantech" Output of junction box or output of sensor?

I did mention Tech Support? I hate when they don't actually read your question. It took two weeks and five messages for Panasonic, a company I have always respected for their consumer grade products, to actually read the question and now they are sending a firmware disk in 10 business days. The first two replies were telling me to do what I had already told them I had done. The second two were asking for "exact date of purchase" when I told them in the first message it was about two years ago and I did not have an exact date. Sorry, but a minimum wage untrained idiot filling in a form in some remote location is not customer support. They are only one step away from losing my business ( over 40 years) not from their products, from their support. Ironic, I had to call Fedx last week on a package I thought may have been lost. True to form, the person answering the phone found the package and assured me it would be on the truck. It was. They called back a day later to verify I had received it. I ship Fedx. They understand customer support.
Ah, Coffee is up. I hate the price of K-cups, but well, the product is good...
