How good is this - Nelson has been presenting these very generous offerings for 20 years now on this forum. What a legend.
I just wonder how many Pass designs have been built by members here over the past 20 years, totally mind boggling. Anyone care to have an educated guess!!
Mind boggling indeed! No educated guesses, I am sure if we are talking about "all Pass designs" since the late '70's, early 80's....perhaps in the 6 figures.
But for me, I have really enjoyed reading and learning from his articles. And if you spend 5 minutes with him, he will impart some knowledge as well.
Best,
Anand.
Jason, Nelson. Just read the details on the charitable donations and so forth. Makes me proud to know you guys. 🙂
Wow, wow, wow!
Good luck everyone. I hope I can be one of the lucky ones!
Thank you “Papa” Nelson.

Many, many thanks for this! Will there be an option to pay a bit more to support these worthy charities?
Really hoping to get one and help give back.

.....
if he's giving a Lecture, explaining some project, yes
if in private, you'll laugh....not thinking about technical
Hello everyone, as always appears under the sun a new apparition and a gift from the teacher Nelson Pass
Outstanding!
Can't wait until I have time to follow this up entirely. Got an idle Sony TA 5650 that I pulled all of the vfets out of. Now it's just a 30 lb phono preamp. That puppy sounded amazing when it worked.....

I don't need another low output power, high distortion amplifier.
From the data, much worse than any poor tube amplifier.
Of course, some people prefer cars powered by steam engines over Tesla automobiles.
