It's a Turing test. A machine won't understand it.

My somewhat incomplete English qualification does not make it possible in order for me to take the bygones purely unfortunately.

I flunked that test, I think. So, let me get this straight: Vince Harris is a computer?

Ah! So that's what's wrong with me...I must be a quart low on oil...

Spoken like a person who has been married for 25 years. Sorry scratch that after 25 years even "Mechanical" would do.
Ok that was in bad taste!
John,
I wonder if that troublesome spanner that built the 2nd story extension via the neighbours picture window that blocks the view of the water could be pressed back into service to put the wheels back on the B4 project.

Very funny and rather correct. With the way my body is slipping/sliding down-hill, even a "mechanical" night means I deserve a medal. And boy do I pay for it the next day...

B4, not after? 😉

Even if that's what my guru was saying,... I can take it.

Burning Amp #1 is your New Years gift, although it is waiting for the
revised site to be launched - in a few days.
Maybe it will be for Valentine's day...

Buffer / Preamp Question
I would like to know , if it is possible to design a very nice buffer preamp in the B1 style ,with the 2sk170 s , gain =1 but polarity inverter .
Maany Thanks .

Yes, but it would certainly have to be more complicated than
the JFET follower of the B1?
What is the application?

The main application would be to have 2 buffers , one of them invering polarity , to drive balanced inputs , without building a differential pair splitter . Is it probably better to imagine a differential pair with gain=1?
And also to have a spare inverter for sound test in various configuration.

.... and I would love to drive 2 zen V2 balanced actually .
