mute button-for Wife ?

In the interest of fairness, I feel that I should insert here that my wife has always been very supportive of my audio hobby. She actually listens to the big system and likes music in a non-trivial way. You can find women who want to dance, or go to concerts, or have music as sonic wallpaper for parties, but finding one who actually wants to listen sometimes is a good thing.
They're out there. You've just got to find them.

The women in my house would prefer to watch TV. Therefore, I generally listen to music alone. Hence, my system caters to the hedonistic tendencies I possess. Ah, horns...
Grey... Where were you in devorce court with me today 😕 😕 😕GRollins said:In the interest of fairness, ...

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

Sorry to hear about your divorce, Lee.
Maybe you can meet a sweet electronics tech next time? One who enjoys music on homemade amplifiers, of course.
Hope all worked out ok for the two of you.

Well, I have to look to a bright side. I guess that would be, more time a $$$ to my DIYAudio adventures...😀 😀 😀

Thanks Bro...

Thanks Bro...
I did the divorce thing about eighteen years ago. Roughly a year later, I hooked up with someone who actually added things to my life instead of taking all the time.
Married her.
Vast improvement. Not unlike going from class C to high bias class A. Things had started to improve even before the divorce was finalized. Sold my first story, got a promotion at work...previews of coming attractions, you might say.
There will be bad days, but they will become fewer as the year progresses. Life will get better.

I have been married for 22 years. I have notched that frequency out. My wife was talking to me the other day then said "you are not even listening to me". I told her "I thought you were on the phone".
Grey give me a call.

Mike,
I hear and obey...

P.S.: Actually, it occurs to me that such a filter might be of use in conjunction with my three year-old. Lawsy-me, but that child can babble.

in that case-wisest what yo can is old techie trick , in fact doable in two ways:
1. put smallest fuse you can in place and pray that nobody will power on device again
2.put pin instead fuse and power on device again
I prefer No.2

On the bright side... When your sitting on the bottom you know where you are and what YOU have to do to get back up..
We have evrything to look forward to again and we can avoid the same mistakes and get to make new ones.. 😀
That's right, your not alone in it my brother (of sorts)...

/pass/: recommends the movie "Cherry 2000"
hahahaha...........
even better........"Boy and his Dog"
(title really from top of my head.....one of first Don Johnson's roles.....but story is certainly Ellison's 😉 )

That one sure paid Don's major dental reconstruction job.
From what Mr Rollins has been shedding lately, that movie could have been shot in South Carolina.
(i'll take Jason Robards anytime, Mr Scarab Vice sucks)
Anyway, I have decided that I need a more robust line level
stage to drive my F4 followers, so I might as well kill two birds
with one stone.
