Hi Pierre,

I'm currently working towards a "permit" to take the Audio Precision off-site for the weekend, so if that pans out, I'll probably do a presentation on electrical measurements of power amplifiers and explain exactly what is being measured and what the meaning of each measurement is. After the presentation I could take some time to measure people's equipment if they're interested. It's a fairly small setup, and doesn't make any noise, so it shouldn't interfere with the rest of the show.

If the above falls through, then I can always dust off last year's Class D presentation, so put me down for something either way, and I'll let you know which it will sometime next week.

I'm looking forward to the show!

I definitely would be interested in a record cleaning demo also.. I've collected the "plumbing supplies" to build a clone of George Merrill's Gem Dandy when I can get out from under some other commitments (building Objective2 headphone amps..) , and have been looking for some DIY record cleaning solutions..

This makes at least three of us interested, so I'll ask Wolfgang if he can demonstrate his technique. His records are very quiet.

I can't speak for Wolfgang, but I have been to his house & seen him cleaning some records. It is a DIY system, but if I remember correctly, the final connection went into his house vacuum system...so I'm not sure that it is "portable" for demos. I'll leave it to Wolfgang to reply, but given the last few posts, I thought that I should mention something while we wait for him to post.

And a note to Mr. Slim
I was aware that you had Objective2 commitments. Although I think you mentioned you had nothing to bring, I was hoping that you might bring one of those, so that we could hear it during our "headphone" segment. I'm figuring/hoping that Owen will bring a "Wire" as well. Although I also said I wasn't bringing anything (since I haven't built anything), I expect that I'll bring my Little Dot 1+ (tube headphone amp) to the headphone segment, along with some entry-level headphones.
