Hi Guys,

I'm interested in Owen's LPUHP-16W and the LME49830 / Lateral Mosfets amplifiers. The PCB's are on their way, and I'm excited to build them. It will be fun come to your show, see the demos and exchange ideas. I will have with me an exaU2I, an e18 DAC, and my notebook with multichannel high-res files. If the schedule permits we can try digital crossovers and "audiophile-grade multichannel", if such a thing exists 🙂

Cheers,

George

Hi Pierre,

I'll be bringing along my latest and greatest speakers as well, and either day would work for a demo.

I also think George will be using these for his high-resolution audio playback demo with his DAC and I2S/USB stuff.

They're flat as can be from 25Hz up to over 40kHz, have incredibly low distortion and can play at ear splitting levels with my little 16W amps 🙂

Should be fun!

Cheers,
Owen

Owen, they're beauties ! I can't wait to hear them. Having said this, just to balance the weekend schedule-wise I would think that Sunday would work best IMO.

Hi Owen,

This is a very impressive frequency response. I am trying to figure out how to feed your driver files in one of the convolver plug-ins available for use with Foobar. Convolvers require impulse response saved as a WAV file with matching number of channels and sampling rate. I haven't done that before. My experience is limited to testing digital crossovers like Allocator and foo_dsp_xover.

I will have with me an exaU2I and e18 DAC. Hopefully we can figure out the connections at the event.

-Best,
George
