DIY EMI filter for power supply

You still have to do the notations for the component values.
I hope I didn't make a mistake... I did it quickly. 🙂
In the future, take care of the symmetrical arrangement of the components. If I can help you with anything else, I am at your disposal.
A list of the components used would also be necessary.

This was the last version of the threads subject isn't it? The thread itself seems to need a good filter.

BTW it likely needs ferrite beads over the incoming mains cabling. The uninterrupted isolated ones are optimal, the click on versions are less good.

Thank you for separating the various posts. This thread was about designing and making a JLCPCB version of the EMI filter suggested by the original poster message #1, including the edits suggested by @jean-paul and @Julian RO .
Everything else is unrelated and was deviating from the main discussion of this particular project.

Now that the boxes are here I will proceed as usual trying to fit everything in them and arrange the components differently if necessary. I'll come back when I have more updates.

Hallo from what I found according to IEC 62368-1 (3rd Edition, in force since 2020), surge protection between Line/Neutral and PE should use a series combination of GDT and MOV. This design helps limit MOV wear during normal operation and ensures proper surge handling.
Furthermore, the standard expects GDTs from L/N to PE to have significantly higher spark-over voltages than in the past—typically around 3500 V. This ensures they remain inactive under normal mains conditions and only respond to severe surge events like lightning strikes.
For MOVs placed between Line and Neutral, the standard now requires thermal disconnects to reduce fire risk from sustained overvoltage or MOV failure.

I followed this IEC and have choosen:

Here some Suitable Values:
L to N each parralel but MOV with Temp fuse
MOV from TDK: B72220R2301K101
GDT from TDK: B88069X4860T502

L to PE / N to PE (GDT and MOV in Serie)
GDT from TDK: B88069X2200S102
MOV from TDK:B72220P3301K101
