I am just about to start building these boards and have a question about the output filter and series resistor. The CR high pass filter created with the 4.7 uf cap and 100k resistor to ground should give a corner frequency of .3 Hz. I wanted to change this to 10k to ground and 2uf cap, which should give an 8 Hz f3. The 2uf cap is cheaper.
However, does the 220 Ohm series resistor have to be incorporated into the equation? It looks like a voltage divider in reverse but I'm not sure if it actually behaves as one. My guess is that it does not. Any thoughts?

Hi Promitheus,
Sorry to be so late....do you still have some PCBs left ? I would like a pair of the PCB for the output stage & PSU.
Best Regards

If you're interested I have the boards(from Promitheus) built and tested.
Send me a good offer!

Built and tested D1 I/Vstage
As a new person to this, I'm under moderation so can't email you directly.
On the 8-17-06, you were offering a complete D1 I/V output board with transformer for sale. If it is 240v @ 50hz and is still available, I would like to purchase it.

Hi promitheus
I have just build your D1 I/V stage, and it's playing very well.
I have connected it behind the non-profit ver.3 TDA1541a DAC from Thomas (Tube-lover).
It sound very good to me.
Thanks,
Peter.

some of you have used the D1 I/V stage with the 1451a DAC did you make any changes or did you use the stage as is`?
I'm looking for an IV stage for the RAKK dac, which is based on the PCM1794 and is balanced. Can I use two D1 ? Any experience ?
thanks
Emanuele
thanks
Emanuele
I also have a pcm1794 based dac (Ezdac) I don't use balanced inputs with the amps though, is it possible to use a D1 with the PCM1794 for line out instead of balanced?
Hi,
I would like t try this output I/V stage do you still have 1 main board and 1 power supply board?
