DIY ACA mini

I laid out my own PCB for an "Almost Clone" of the ACA Mini -- my rev.0 prototype is shown (here)

After a small board rev, member KevinHeem graciously supervised two Group Buys of these boards. The rev.1 boards that he shipped out, all over the world, had a total of 163 drilled holes. Here's a frequency table.

Thanks so much Mark. Then 10 hole sizes would not be out of line at all. I am using board/wire connectors rather than the actual I/O connectors so that might account for the difference in hole size count. But I'll double check everything. Thanks again for the speedy and helpful feedback.

BTW Mark Johnson, I bought one of Kevin's baords and built it the amp. It is so good. I liked it so much I decided to try to make a more conventionally packaged verison of Papa's marvelous understated overachiever of a design. I'm ordering the boards and chassis today.

Dalaudio‘s website changed making it a little hard to find the chassis I used, here’s the link: https://www.eprosellers.com/store/c16/DALAUDIO_PARTS.html

I just ordered a chassis for my friend who just finished his ACA mini build, I‘ll need to drill a few holes to mount the PCB. I’m really happy with the chassis. I used Pomona 6883 binding posts which I think are a great value (around $4).

Curious that; Own an St120, I built as a Kit in '71 .
Gutted and rebuilt with Update my Dynaco 3886 Kits (very affordable, ~ same costs as that dal audio case 🙂 a few years back.
Sound is Surprisingly good.
Not equal to my DIY F6 'good' ..but in All honesty, not embarrassingly lesser .. truth be told.

Merely surprised to see that case for Mini use. That said; yours does look V well done.
