Could you see the lovely parts?....i am loving them deeply..almost sleeping with them...counting, organizing, selecting and thinking how and where to use them...i am feeling deeply happy with those gifts.... very happy... and i would tell everybody how nice where those folks.... Sakis, the Greek warrior (kind with me), Taj, the Canadien boss, and Dudainc, the Doctor in Acoustics.
Dudainc sent me lovely ear plugs to protect my ears while playing my amplifiers loud.... but i use to test them for minutes...i do not go bothering for long time...fast i reduce the volume...i hate to bother people with my music, as this is very personnal.
The function generator is an old passion....i told him i wanted something that way and he fast found into E Bay (USA) and bougth it dedicated to me..this happened one year ago.... and i am waiting till that moment to hold the beautifull old style generator...lovely to change frequencies turning the knob...wonderfull!

I hate to build, or adapt, chassis, panel and enclosures
I dislike the mechanical work, the use of drill bit.... i feel this boring.
I love to build circuits, to inspect and measure, and now a days to watch waveforms too...but really.... mechanical work, use of electrical tools..this is not "my beach".

[/URL]I have 3 pieces of equipment that will enable me to measure the amplifier's distortion, ie sine wave oscillation, wave analyser and oscilloscope.
Now I use a laptop running a software that can measure THD distortion and also has a built-in 2 channel oscilloscope and oscillator. So much cheaper, occupies less space and gives you result quicker. That's technology for you.

Carlos, that is a nice looking scope picture; seems like the functinon generator is working. Its hard to photo a scope due to its intensity and the surrounding light. I look foward to seeing the amplifiers that are about to be issued by the DX corp. Are you going to sing through that microphone?
uncle carlos due to my curiousity to your quasi version i modify the dx amp and made it to your quasi complimentary.
i insert a transistor between R12 and R13. I change Q4 and Q5 to bigger one (A1106 and 2SC2581), my output transistors are 2SC5200 (2 pcs). SUpply voltage is 35-35.
Result is super deep heavy bass, but sonic seems to reduce a little. But i love the bass.
and yes hazing and buzzing sound is there, specially in tweeter.

Yep Masterinvi, i have tested this way too...i love quasi complementary, but has not
the audiophile "appeal" .... well, that what i was thinking when i have posted the amplifier first time..then i could see people running to Quasi design, the nice quasi complementary amplifier he made.
I do prefer quasi...no doubts about...but also i love to see people building...well...i thougth that people wanted complementary and never will believe in anything different than that...my mistake...now it is done!
The harshing is because you are having distortions driven by signal...some frequencies starts oscilations but something alike "empathy".... then increase your capacitors, the miller one, install 33pf or 47pf (not more than that)..to the NFB...the second differential transistor base, increase the one you have, install more 10 pf in parallel or substitute to a higher value.
The emitter floating resistance to the drivers must be adjusted, and you may try to have almost the same Vbe into the drivers, compared to the output..this happens also because drivers reach saturation before the output.
If you have not installed, then install the 2n2 capacitor between the 4K7 and the off set trimpot, they are sittuated into the differential long tail.... the free lead goes to ground...not the input lifted ground!, goes to the traditional ground.
If harshing continues, then disconnect the zobel filter, lift one lead from the capacitor or from the resistance...i had that trouble once...do not ask me why.... i do not know..but the cure was to remove zobel filter (almost unbeliavable..we think the filter is there to stabilize...sometimes does the opposite)

The picture is the package received having gifts inside..sent by Dudainc, Sakis and Taj...this is internal economic brazilian mail system... 5 days to arrive from brazil extreme to extreme points..even into the Amazon jungle...cheap and good internal mail system..less than 20 dollares and we can sent 15 pounds of things along the country..nothing is damaged here.... please, do not send me parts directly...Brazil customs will capture...this was done througth Luiz Eduardo (Dudainc) that has an Enterprise in the USA.

I hit it on the net though excellent FM transmitters too, but these most expensive.
A cheaper apparatus like this could be a solution possibly because of this onto the home radio station's role.

I have nothing to criticise..works perfectly..have only to adjust the input level not to saturate... the deviation is perfect..the FM deviation let you listen 15 kilohertz without any trouble..also 20 hertz is audible without losses.
Inside a small home alike mine i can capture the signal, in stereo, almost everywhere inside my home..it is a 100 square meters appartment, 3 sleeping rooms, " L " shape living room, 2 bathrooms and good kitchen and other auxiliary rooms to laundry and so on...a balcony too... a middle class appartment in Brazil...cost is 35000 USD and we use to pay in 25 years long financing agreement with a Federal Bank...hehehehe.. now you know the whole story ..inside this one i can listen everywhere.
When people plays portable radio too loud, i use to plug an USB cable (that works for antenna only, has not the USB function into the computer) to increase my transmitting range and i use to ask people to reduce radio volume when they are playing loud and after 22:00 (10 hours nigth)... range goes to 25 meters...but more than 15 meters you cannot capture stereo anymore, signal goes weak and you cannot make your receiver multiplex circuit active.
I am a Radio Amateur too... 40 years skilled..but now a days no active using radio...only audio now!
It uses two Alkaline batteries, 1.5 volts, size AAA (the smaller ones)

I checked all the way, find nothing wrong.
