There are some figures telling more about the quality of an amp then total harmonic distortion. When you have some free time to 'play' with your Spice software let's run a phase response / open loop gain analysis, and test square-wave response (~10...50kHz, full output). Intermodulation distortion figure is gainful too.
I'd recommend to use Microcap if you can afford it (it's worth it!). I never preferred EWB/MS. MC is a true professional Spice software!
And yes, using good models is really important!

Another Dx Amplifier made...this one at Rio de Janeiro
Made by Soundbuster...observe the traditional french floor...pieces of real wood cutted in rectangles.
Sound is not very good...the camera is producing some mess saturating into the trebles.

Dx Amplifier, the most simple and low distortion amplifier you can have... three stages only.... small component count and THD lower than 0.1% at full unclipped power.
Inspired into the magnificent Aksa, referenced into Sony 33 and tuned using ears only.... this small distortion number is a surprise to me...i knew it sounded fine, but i had not the knowledge it is also nice to measurements....fourier analises shows absolutelly none distorted harmonics...just the fundamental.
If you can pay for the best..then go to Aksa, if not, then build Dx Amplifier or give a try to the Krill amplifier... Symassym is a great idea too... GEM from Graham Bernard is excelent too... Roender amplifier is great also...well... a lot of options of excelent performance for your total satisfaction.
