dam1941 - Next Gen Discrete R-2R Sign Magnitude 24 bit 384 kHz DAC module

The lowpass filter cap is a NOS 2.2nf SEIMENS KS polystyrene styroflex, I can't really tell it's there vs it not being there, which is probably a good thing. I think it was one of TNT's suggestions, probably depends on how well your upstream does at handling extra HF more than anything else.

Hi Soren

I try to reach you and your conpany per mail per phone and per massage, no success

(order No SE533188) and the order still on processing phase. And no answer for my asking.

I'm sorry, but I don't process orders, please contact the reseller where you placed the order.

Let me know where you placed the order, and I'll check.

Hi Soren,

Quick question -I'm looking at building around the DAM using a LiFePO battery bank as the supply. Natively, it can produce 6.6v. I can regulate that down to 5v if necessary, but can Vcc5A and Vcc5D (and the inverted Vee5A) take 6.6v (+/- as appropriate) directly?

Can you chek it? It is not so fair, I was paid ~20 days befor, since the price drop down 41€ and no goods, not shipped still now. So the minimum is to send back the 41€ and send the goods urgently, Anyway if the Soekris Europe »  states the items on stock why not send it.

As per as the webshop:

"3. Time to Delivery
Soekris Europe aims to ship all in-stock orders the same day as your order placement and payment approval."

So may we have a different idea what it mean the same day,

As far as I have been told, your payment was slow and you specified the cheapest shipping, that added time....

Anyway, don't talk to me here, but talk with the shop, it's a separate company...

What can I say, so it is simply not true!
Payment (order) start May 03, payment arrived May 08

The goods simply not delivered, you or your reseller delivered last day, so I would not recoment anybody to buy that or from.
Secondly I was ordered and meanwhile I was waiting for the processing (not mixed up with the shipping time!) the goods become cheaper 41€ so someone (named Soekris.eu) used my money within 20 days. And as I attached befor that webpage promissed a same day shiping.

And why I ask here?! Because I did not got any answer from soekris.eu from 2019-05-19...

Secondly why I ask you? Because you promoted (may you produced?) that goods,

Summarised not a fair trade, not a fair and customer care attitude.

Yes, I'm Soekris Engineering, the manufacturer of Soekris Products, but I did not sell you anything, the company "Soekris Europe" did. Please note that it's a separate legal entity NOT run by me, I don't have any control over their customer service.

... the ONLY reseller within EU, right?

Unit View

That's correct, until I get some more resellers in EU, still looking for resellers in major EU markets.... But anybody can also purchase from non EU resellers....

And yes, as you can see, Ole Kristensen is family, he has been selling Soekris products for over 15 year, even before the Audio Products. And he's normally a very nice and customer friendly guy....

I'm thinking about cutting the 5v from the usb cable, correct me if I'm wrong but is the XMOS powered from the PCB or from USB power, I do know that some XMOS implementations requires 5v for initial handshake but can otherwise be disconnected after this via a dual headed usb cable etc.

The USB interface is powered from USB power, otherwise it couldn't be isolated....

That mod was described here: dam1941 - Next Gen Discrete R-2R Sign Magnitude 24 bit 384 Khz DAC module
For proper isolation you need to power the regulator from separate transformer winding. I did that, but the difference wasn’t that obvious. However, I also use linear PS in my computer.
