Using the isolated 5 V I2C LCD screen and Chip DAC3.3V is a good solution, protecting the DAC chip is not destroyed.

I used P82B96 For connecting DAC 3.3V and 5V LCD

You can use the other controller for this DAC, please refer to the connection diagram.

Thank you quanghao, all clear regarding the controller. I need to remap the inputs according to the hifiduino configuration otherwise some inputs won't work.

Another thing I noticed with this input configuration is that I can't use the 8 & 9 bit quantizer settings for coax, toslink and AES/EBU. Not really something to worry about, but in some cases I seem to prefer the 9-bit quantizer over the other settings. Mostly with I2S though, so it's really no problem.

Maybe I have missed it, but there seems to be no information about the dimensions of the chassis. Does anybody know what the dimensions (width, length, height) of chassis are going to be?

What I'd love is the complete DAC hardware including chassis, but with the transformer output stage (it's the only way to fly). It isn't really option 1 or option 4. I'm going to add myself to option 1 like wuming.

Hi all!
All DAC V2 design has been completed and checked, the results are very good, I'm very happy about it!

Specially designed with V / I do not use feedback, has great sound, very natural, harmonious combination with output voltage modes of ES9018, better sound using opam IV. I was excited, and test results measured noise sources and other parts of a Diy members, which has led to Andrea and I completed DAC v2.

Thank you all, and I would like to add some information about the production of V2 kit.

Will begin in the first months of 2014.
