It’s highly debatable if the PCM63 is even better. Depends on system and ears, not worth the inflated price to me. Is this the next TDA1541A cult chip?

As for me, these debates has been finished many years ago, and 1862 is the only one of the old non-SDM Audio DACs which I use.
So whoever thought to buy tens of thousands of those chips cheaply once upon a time, now doesn't have to do anything until retirement.

You can't know if they sell any PCM63 at all. They just sit on the inventory and in the end they throw all away. We are the only dinosaurs, who would buy those chips.
