create your own adapter
Creating adapters is easy. Finding suitable pins...not so much.
What do you use please as pcb drawing soft? Freeware?
you can use any freeware for this simple routings, like eagle with free license (free license has restrictions to non-commercial use only) ...
or opensource kicad (no restrictions), but follow youtube tutorials otherwise you will get struggle 🙂
~this is what can be seen in the photo.
I have blobbed together the two inputs and had connected to ground, with a resistance.
But Miro's config is better and requires the same space, topology arrangement.!
More: what is hidden in the picture:
Should prepare the pads before placement:
With thin wire, beneath chip, connect:
Pin1 - pin6;
Pin7 - pin8;
Cover with tape : pin5; pin6; pin7
Place and solder the chip in 5 places:
Pin 1,2,3,4, 8.
On the remaining 3 free pins :
Solder pin7 - pin6;
Connect pin5 to ground. (Miro config)

Just a data point - I tried ordering AD1862NJs from 'janeh2100' on ebag. Order was marked shipped and then got a note that the parts were 'unavailable from their supplier'. Hopefully the other source mention will come through, I'd prefer not to have to buy a dozen from Rochester 🙂
just received 2 more N-J from hifi-szjxic. one measures 0.0012%, the second one 0.0014% TDH+N. So as the DS states. He still has the last one 🙂 in general it seems like the end of the days for N-J is approaching indeed..

But if You do, I would be in for an european group buy..
For Rochester,
I have a group buy and already can purchase 6~8 of them from Rochester, do u guy want to join?
My location is in HK and still can send to most parts of world.
if yes, please give me a PM

PCM63 K hunt instead ? Much rarer and pcm63 has a less neutral mid imo than the AD1862. But well I prefer the bipolar sound a well, so a question of taste I assume...
Diggy, have a look at this.. Rush until he still has some..

I would be interested too.
Thank you JosephK for that link. I believe it is a very good solution for someone not having AD1862 yet or want to have a sota sorted out PCM63P with the K grade. Anyway with all the chips I have as for the tda1541A late Singapor years and a Cron one, AD1865K -certainly a false K as bought on an Ebay kit 10 years ago in China to a famous lady at that times- + my genuine Rochesters + the two last I bought yet for the Miro1360's cool DAC... I should buy myself ears 😀
With Rochester be aware the price is almost doubling cause DHL VAT + Customs fees. Calculated on the total amount purchased at Rochester so no vlume synergy but the moq of course.

thanks for the update ... it seems to me that prices have risen 🙄
I agree Miro.
My first chip purchase was $10
A week later, same seller $15.50,
Another week later, and now they are up to $22.50!!!
Maybe this thread is monitored by chip sellers, we should all chat in secret code from now on!!
