It will work if yours is a business account and you need to state the basis of your requirements for the chips. If you order through Digikey, they would not charge for shipping but Rochester would. The MOQ, shipping and import tax all will add up. So members in the US who has business account with Digikey or Rochester is in the best position to help in a group buy.
I placed an order through Rochester about a year ago using my accounting business as my company. They called to ask what I was using these for since my business name is clearly from the wrong industry. After explaining they sold me the AD1862, but made me promise not to ship any outside the US. Vunce is probably just following their rules.

Too many negative reviews about faulty and fake chips, 88% store, and a rng name. You have got a real deal, but others may not, i honestly wouldn't take a risk. Not to say they would do it on purpose, but they purchase many chips from various sources, and resell. Some may be original but badly desoldered, badly stored esd damaged, some may be plain fake, and some working properly nos. Lottery really.
@Brijac - 32 bad reviews mostly microprocessors and batteries, renowned for being glitchy. Bad handling as much as anything possibly. When you are selling the amount of things some of these vendors do it must be hard to get 100% rating.
I'm about as honest a seller as you can get and even my ebay isn't 100%.
Remember where these things are made. In all the purchases I have made on AliX, only one has ever been dodgy, extinct Mosfets and AliX refunded once I took pictures.
You have protection. Not happy - make a complaint with proof. They will refund you or provide a local EU shipping address to return to vendor.

All I can say is that mine are minty new and work as expected, I will order 2 more on Monday when I get some money and show them here, I will actually offer them to someone else to confirm they are good - Brijac I will send them to you pal , send them back if you don't need them.

That is just crazy as it is not their business ! I can't believe ad1862 to be used for a weapon or a nasty russian or North Korean, lol.
There is no DACS or CD player from JAPAN brands anymore to fix (were there any ad1862 USA cd players or DAC based ????) ! Or so few they had stock enough !
Not very marketing friendly company ! My analyse is they do not want hassle and send by big batch as small bills and shipping are a mess for financial and cost killers directors !
That's the first time I read such a story where the seller seems to do a favor by choosing their customer ! USA beginns to be crazy or irational! They could have wondered having a catalog line with so few items left is much more expensive to affoard and makes whatever is feasible to sold out it ! Or maybe you just had an inner student working at phone from home w/o the control of the manager ?
Or maybe some US guys do prefer to deal between north americans because less hassles because of shippment ? Can be fair because the pain of filling a form.
Anyway, many thanks to padddy Garcia who was always a nice and gentleman guy to deal with (guy you know you have a 4 layer AD1862 pcb with double op outpouts from me when you will be in Europe soon 🙂 )

Crazy part is that I got myself pair of AD1862N-J and TDA1541 S1 from Russia last year.
🙂 ! Achtung to the S1 : they do bougth from China (a lot) because the restricted market since Ukraine agression.
Sadly an S1 could cost more than a human being there 😉
All my TDA came from CD player because this chip is high on the bad sellers easy monney thieves !
Second Hand CD player is the best bet or very know bricks & Mortars sellers !

Nah, the verity is the chips forbiden by US gvt but authorisation to export (weapons ndustry) are so few, our dac are not on concern !

Yeah, I did that too 😀 Got pair of 1541A from old Phillips CD-players. There are still plenty of them in The Netherlands.
Believe me, there are stories like that on both sides of the iron curtain 🙂
Yep, as it was mentioned before, it is EAR99 so no license required. I guess digikey/rochester just don't want to take any risk.

I had to first populate the formular checking that i do in RF apllications etc. and then there are strict warnings about US made parts like Dale resistors - which is nonsense to me.
But it goes for some time, at least from last 4-5 months, everytime when i buy at Mouser i need to check the forms ( bying not possible without them ).
