Creek Audio OBH-11 Headphone Amp Upgrade

@bigskyaudio you don't have PSU recomendation for this little gem? I bought mine of ebay from the US and it is in mint condition BUT the PSU is 120V. I saw your earlier post regarding the PSU from Jameco, but that is also 120V, any suggestions on a good 24V supply based on 230V? i was thinking about the SBooster line, but it seams a bit excessive. 🙂

IF anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

@LEAP It's unimaginative but I ended up buying this power supply for the Creek OBH-11

Now on to the reason i signed up to this forum.

I've recently bought an old Creek OBH-11 and have seen the mods that @bigskyaudio has posted and am interested in taking this on but i have basically no idea where to start sourcing parts. Are these parts all dispersed all over the place or is there a one-stop-shop where i can buy most of these things from? I was hoping that i would be able to buy a kit or parts and perhaps this might have been a possibility a few years back but i'm very late to the party here.

I'm UK based if that makes any difference.

My rebuild is still working very well!

Here are my internals. If anyone can help me put together a UK based shopping list i'd appreciate it. From reading this thread there are come caps and the op amp that seem to be must-do parts and other bits seem less important or more unnecessary depending on how the amp was specced in the first place.

Its been awhile since I did this rebuild...but here is my board vs yours side by side.
It looks like all you electrolytics need to be replaced.
The op amp. This is not easy to find.
Several resistors and caps non electros need replacing.
There is that small resistor from the outside of the vol pot as well on mine that was added.
I dont see one on your, take a look on the side not visable in the pix to see if its there or not.

I certainly DO have the little resistor on the side of the volume pot, you can’t see it because of the angle of the image but it is there.

I emailed Michael Percy a fey days ago ideally wanting a kit of parts put together and am waiting for a reply.

I don’t mind doing the soldering work, what I don’t know I can really be bothered with is ordering a couple of resistors from one place, the opamp from somewhere else, some caps from yet another place. The more stuff I can get from one supplier the better, I’m hoping that Michael has most of the stuff I need.

Hi, no this is not a a diy project but and existing amp that can be modded.

I have one version powered by a sigma 11 for highly regulated 26V.
However If I compare with the headhone out of mij H&K PM665 it is not able to drive a Senheiser HD650 so wel.
I use another as above in the studio and works fine.
