Creation of a powerful acoustic system. Need your help with advice.

Peavey SP2(2004) produced 2004 to 2018? The current version has doubled the RMS pink noise wattage and dropped the harmonic distortion chart at 5 W. Probably reduced the beam width also, with a higher crossover point. Making the new SP2 a PA speaker only, unsuitable for low wattage living room use.
Here is how one of my SP2(2004) are performing on white noise in my music room. Microphone on axis 2 m from front with speaker 1 m off floor, zero and 25 cm from hard plaster wall. Response from 20-40 hz probably augmented by a diesel sewer pump 3 km away. Missing response above 15 khz is above limit of microphone. Non-gated sample ~1second long.

I just made my own version with all scan speak drivers; a pretty wide dispersion, sounds good off axis. Finished the top section and a new sub will likely be added under each (more for the looks). No idea how the web versions compare to mine but I am pretty satisfied with the result (I started with a more complicated concept and ended up with a more conventional design). I can attest to that configuration (S+WMTMW) as really great if multi-amping (in my case tri-amping).
