Thanks. It is extremely unlikely that any sensible person with any knowledge of electronics could sincerely believe what you quoted, so I have to conclude that they merely hope that their customers believe it.peufeu said:I'll save you the trouble
He doesn't understand voltage, therefore he cannot understand your explanation. As evidence for this seeJMFahey said:Offset relative to **WHAT**?
IF it´s Ground Zero and by definition *THE* Reference point, by definition it´s ZERO volts away from itself.

There is no such thing as a voltage - maybe I ought to make this my signature line?

stop man stop i cant control laughing. What the hell are these guys doing in Thailand Quantum Mechanics in Thailand? Interesting. When did the Government started to invest in Quantum stuff, they have to be at NASA. Let me get by adress book i know few guys at NASA.

Hehe, okay, have another serving! Those are... ground boxes! You know. It's a shovelful of "Ground Enhancement Material" poured in a nice box and it has gold plated jacks on the back. So you can earth your rig...

Im surprised for just mineral powder for 1150 pounds? interesting though... I think half of the price goes for shipping cost.
apart from it what makes the ground becoming better with that material being in path?

It's Taiwan actually. As a Taiwaner, I have never heard of this guy, and their products are not aimed for domestic market, as most of us will laugh at their marketing gimmicks.
Thank you for confirming that you are someone who does not understand voltage, and that therefore you are a potential customer for this device. There is no such thing as a voltage.
I didn't bother to look at their website; I didn't need to as the block diagram given in post 1 was sufficient clue that this is pure snake oil. As usual in these cases the only question which matters (in a moral sense) is whether they believe in this stuff or are merely hoping that their customers do.
Im surprised when you said there is no such thing as voltage? so why do we use the term volts. So can you explain the same scenario using any other term? I just want to know..

Voltage is a potential difference. It has to be referenced to some other point. Ground is the reference point and can have no voltage referenced to itself.
This was explained earlier.

Why can't one just throw a handful of ground inside your amplifier. What you should pay attention to is how much ground you need to throw in each box, else the grounds will obviously not be the same and you will end up with an offset between grounds. Just shows how few audiophiles know what ground is.😱
What if you install the equipment in an satellite, then ground is totally useless, it would have to be sky. If it is on a boat it would obviously be water and you will need a cable dangling over the side into the water to have a good water connection.
Earth may be a more appropriate term because it can then be ground or water?

In real life you will find very little voltages in the order of 1mv or less fluctuating if you measure between the signal grounds of two different equipments....however, there will be a voltage between two different points labelled "GND"...

The guy's surname was Volt, Mr. Voltage was his French counterpart.

I say we start a DIY ground box builders thread. I have just the right kind of dirt in my back yard and will offer it in the group buy. 😀

Even the Chinese have not bothered duplicating "Ground Boxes" they probably agree that only the Swedes can come up with this box of cr@p.
Swedes taste quite nice. Good substitute for turnip for those that prefer their haggis that way.
