Hi Prasi,

I have built two power supply with the previous version and I was impressed by the quality of the PCB, however I found that the mounting holes for the heat sink were a little bit too small for some suppliers like "Ohmite heatsink TO-220 EA-T220-51E" from Mouser, I would suggest to increase it by 0.1 or 0.2 mm for this new version...

Rgds,
Marc

What heatsinks did you find that do fit Marc?

Heatsinks choice

What heatsinks did you find that do fit Marc?

These heatsinks will fit, but only STS and STIS versions, STSB version use M3 screw which will need a 3.2 mm hole !

GB2 Board finished!

Stunning Quality Boards thanks to Prasi and Project 16!
around 3mv ripple
I did drill the Heatsink mounting holes to 3.2mm

Very nice build aubmar, thanks for posting the update.
did you use quasimodo procedure or default values?
also was there any particular reason why you fitted the faston on ac1 like you did?
regards
Prasi

The 130 ordered is now spoken for. 🙂

I'll take 2 more (total 4) if by chance anyone needs to reduce their number or if more boards become available.

BK

I will make them available to you, since I havent received any reply from board house (thursday closed holiday for them). I can increase the quantity.

here is the updated list

Thank you Prasi,

I'm using a pair of these boards in an F5 and only one tx so the second board has the same arrangement on AC2 so it jumps to the AC2 on this board and this AC1 jumps to the other board. Just trying to keep it neat but I'm rethinking and looking at two tx because I don't know how to get rid of the hum with a single tx. I read a few articles and posts about caps and resistors on the speaker and input grounds but still don't understand enough to do it!

These PS's are built with your defaults on the schematic using 33k caps and MUR860 diodes with no caps at the diodes, just on the input, and they come out with a very tiny ripple first time! Absolutely brilliant and I'm sure all of the new GB3 guy's will be really looking forward to getting their hands on their pcb's!

Thank you again,
Aubrey

Hi Praxi,

Can you add 4 more for me please. Here are the photos of the two I have built, still 2 PCB's available but I will need more in the future and this board may become the standard one for transistor power supply 🙂
