Currently playing Hades Star on Android.
I say currently as, well, it's been probably 18 months of play so far.

I was initially attracted to the game as I have a fondness for the X series games and their forebears, Elite (Frontier?) - if you like spacey trading games then this is the only modern games I know worth playing.

Perhaps some would be interested in a thread for PC games?

I do not have much time for these things anymore, but I just recently purchased Forza Horizon 4 (Ultimate edition).
And I have missed playing racing games, so much fun!
Now I've been having some issues with the entire game slowing down for some weird reason, even though I have more than enough hw to get higher than 60fps with most settings on Ultra. Just found out it may be related to some issues with the ridiculous "Windows Game Mode", hoping I will get it working this evening.

Forza 7 was a big letdown for me, with the homologation limits that I really did not understand, the auto homologation thing that was just horrible, and the game itself full of those annoying loot boxes and whatnot. For some reason buying a specific part would break some kind of rule or limit and it was sometimes a bit difficult to figure out which part was the culprit. If it was fixed in some patch I would'nt know, dropped it like a stone.

Been a big fan of the Civilization series for a long time, had probably over 4500 hours on Civ 4 with BTS expansion. Civ 5 and 6 felt very "unfinished" when they came out, so have sort of lost interest. Hoping that perhaps a future strategy game will be able to catch my attention. Really liked the old Alpha Centauri. And of course things like Masters of Orion 2.

Really looking forward to "merald Rare Candy Cheats" using this guide.
The Outer Worlds
Finally another spiritual sequel to the Fallout series!
Loved Fallout 1 and 2! Fallout 3 and 4 isn't really Fallout, Bethesda has managed to ruin it properly, thankfully they eventually had the sense to ask Obsidian to do Fallout New Vegas, which was a great game.
Endless Legend is a good fantasy game that puts a new spin on 4X games and may have inspired Civ6's districts and cliffs. The lack of naval warfare and the amount of DLC, on the other hand, turned me off. The hex grid, turns, and quests are all present in EL (Like CivBE). I'm not sure how you could make a game that's more like Civ5 without making it Civ6 or CivBE.

I'm going to get immersed in epic pinball pizza and good music. Pinball FX, Jurassic Park, Jaw's, Back To The Future and more. Not a bad way to burn a cold Friday night.

The ol' lady is a way so time to party 😉

Nice graphics.

I have 2 gaming computers now , one has 3070ti and the other one has 3060ti.
like 3d shooting games , but I don’t play single player games, only online .
Like Battle Royales?

I used to be more of a single player campaign guy, like in TitanFall 2. Then I followed the team and tried Apex Legends. This gets launched regularly on PS4 Pro nowadays. A long time ago, I used to play more on PC.

I prefer PC for performance. I upgraded it not long ago to a UHD display it pays off for video games and animated movies, movies too. Alienware R4M17 i7 are a bit heavy to lug around one down side to it although. Super nice machines although.

I maintain it its still running strong. Big file, pinball is only at 36% on the dl so far lol

You bet, nothing beats PC for performance. I do have one from 2017 with a RTX 2080 but this is used mostly for work and research.

Another really cool thing on PC is that some dedicated user can always be found developing mods for some games.

I like the plug-and-play of consoles though.

I remember writing my first game for Sinclair Spectrum in mid 1980's.
It was a Jet Set Willy type game and it was going to make me a fortune !

So made up sone cassette tapes and made a nice picture for the sleeve and set off for a computer show. Showed the game running on a large TV.
Not a single sale in 3 hours ! A complete waste of time.
The first snippets of code I wrote was for Tangerine's Oric Atmos! Learned B.A.S.I.C. on it, but also some assembly.

The first full program I coded was a paint program. I interleaved lines of colour to create new colour tones not available by default. You could create outlines first with the cursor, then fill in the shapes with various colours of your own creation. I was quite young doing that for my generation.

One of my good friends had a ZX. Many of my school friends had the C64. I later won a C64 in a programming competition. I could then exchange games with my friends.

Later moved to the Amiga A500. Fun times these were. Lattice C, HAM mode, Octamed, Music-X, and the games, of course.
