Thanks Richard. Nice, ok, so at last the lower part of that range is covered. last time I checked >10nf was only available in 0805 or larger. I'm a big fan of the TDK parts too; with only murata coming out on top; mostly because their parts are so well characterised.
ahh, yeah, only 35v, thats what would have ruled them out last time, as I was shopping for a design that could see a 45V DC component. not something that would usually be a problem, so thanks again.

Then it must be the oven / air currents / temp profile. My bet is on the profile.
With the Controleo3 you build a profile for the solder paste in use -- in my case i made a profile to work with Chipquick SMD2910AX10. Looks like Panasonic "soak time" is quicker. (The oven will cool down much more quickly than illustrated in this chart.)

Hi, do you think i will have less distortion and piezzo effect with panasonic pps (i know I am splitting hairs and it will be negligible, but all capacitors have piezoelectric effects) than rubycon mu series ?
