Hi mile,With +/-40V power is 80W/8 Ohm load without heatsinks on IRF640 (about 300W/2 Ohm load)
+/-40V Power True RMS is 88W 8R load
FTC (sqr root(200x8)=40v) is 200W 8R load
D200 work perfect with inductor from BEHRINGER class D amp, core with 1mm gap and 15 turns.
is it ferrite core?? size??

Thanks Apex ,
Hi Manoj ,
please share with us , how we can calculate output power with other voltages..

sir mile
what is the problme in my D200 board ?
I can't tell you without tests and measurement, but try it without O/C protect if you can't find 0,05R/5W resistor.
please share with us , how we can calculate output power with other voltages..
Hi ALL
(RMS)FTC calculation is V^2/R=P
ie, 40^2/8= 1600/8=200W RMS
True RMS Calculation is [V/(2xsqroot2)]^2/R=P
(+)40V+(-)40V = 80V(total)
[80/3]^2=710.93/8=88.8W RMS

Hi ALL
actual value for 2x Root 2 = 2.828 so i round to 3
with actual [80/2.828]^2=800/8=100W RMS

i am using 0.1 ohm now for test but nothing change
thanks
Thanks Manoj ,
is there any difference in output power if we use regulated or unregulated smps for this amps ? because mile said that. (in example of XLS1500 amp)
generally , i want to know how much the type of power supply can change the output power...

Hi IR,
if you are using unregulated PS check voltage with maximum power then calculate with that voltage(normally 4.5V difference) .and i think all speakers are FTC RMS rated one not true RMS

Mile ,
This is your own amp ?
which mosfet did you use for +/-75v ? how was the sound and quality then ?
it's beter to use 3W instead of 2W !
i found some amps on Russian language forums , with LM311 instead of TL081 and some difference in design , did you see them ?

I use IRF640N for test with 8 ohms speaker, sound is hi-fi quality and mosfets is just warm without heatsink (work at over 100W ).
Russian amp is UCD topology and D200 is IRAUDAMP1 topology.
Thanks Mile ,Russian amp is UCD topology and D200 is IRAUDAMP1 topology.
where can i find difference between this two topologies ? I really want to understand how they work...but i cant find a short and good article about this..if you don't mind , please give me some lessons.
i'm going to build this amp , as soon as possible !! 🙄

Hi
can you use D200 for subwoofer without problem ?
Yes, sound is very powerfull on sub.
Irsound could share these russian page links? thanks.=
Hi Exflaco , i found that picture in google image search. i don't remember which forum was it. 🙁
but i think mile upload their schematic before. LM311+74AC00+IR2110
he changed modulator section with mackie. i upload those schematics for you.
why you aren't try D200 ?
mile , i forgot to ask another question..why you aren't put large electrolyt capacitor behind fets ? because of bus pumping effect..IRF always use this caps in their designs. or other project like irs series , etc.

Hi sir mile
Hi
please share a very good quality picture from your amp
i want chek your amp parts and my amp too
maybe i have problem in filter zone. right ?
thanks

With my PCB design no need for large electrolyt capacitor behind fets on pcb just in PSU, and I use 470nF and 2X 220nF on pcb.
