No mains fuse. Is that because you're using Class 2 PSU?My new project using diy TPA3106D1 module. Currently I am using meanwell power supply with constant voltage, but I am thinking to use psu with constant voltage and constant current. Casing is made out of black perspex, speaker connectors are gaofei and rca connectors are from neutrik. I still need to manage wiring a bit more, I'm not quite happy how it looks now.

It is because I did the wiring fast and I still need to manage it. I was thinking of adding extra PCB for the fuse and maybe also some mains filter.😉
Hi,
Wanted to share the DHCP-2 board.
It has all the electronics to build a 2-way MFB loudspeaker. Woofer amp is a TDA8950 and mid/high is an LM3886.
A full description can be found here: DHCP-2 description, specifications
This board is the prototype, a small series will be made after.
Currently we're awaiting two pcs. LM337KVURG3 and after that we can do a full test.

Do not thinking unnecessary. 😀
After all, that housing quite big but looking good. But the at once I ordered a large enough space that is sufficient in the future.
The housing will be possibly two amplifiers more. And Dsp may change a 2X8 model.
Chassis is from modushop. 5U 400mm pesante dissipante.

The SMPS is bought. Focus was on the design of the class D amp.

Hi guys,
I used to drive my previous speakers with my TA2020, a seroulsy modded Helder MkIII,
a sweet tiny amp,
and now I'm quite happy to have finished my TK2050 after many years in a drawer... It's now holding old JBL 4311 quite nicely.
Internal sub-casing (with metal sheets) and cooling (silicon pad between heatsink and top case) are the last things to be done.
DIY is fun! And it does sound good!

First DIY Amp
After a long time trawling this forum, I finally put together a class D diy power amp built from two LJM L15d PRO modules, and powered by a connexelectronics 500W SMPS. Was pleasantly pleases by the sound quality of this build. Notice PSU is housed in a separate housing until I get a proper enclosure. Being a first built I made do with what was available to see if it merits further expense. I surely will be getting a proper amp enclosure. Any advice especially regarding wiring is welcome.
