T-amps in the car. 41Hz Amp1 for the tweeters (Vifa XT25C90-04) and Amp2 for the Mids (Focal Polyglass 165V2S)
they only need this much heatsinking. 😉

Hi all
Made this because I wanted to know how much power I actually needed. Turns out 15W will push my full rangers well into distortion.
The case is one from e-bay. £2.50 each. The plan is to make a buffered pre-amp, but for now, I'm using the PC volume control
Notice the heavily oversized heatsink, and heavy-duty carry handles.

Here's my diy Class D amp. It's based on an reference design of irf ( IRAUDAMP7D) together with three TAS3103a DSP's for sound processing (active crossover, volume control, equalizer, surround effects, spectrum analyzing, ...).
What started as a school project became a long term project.😉 It's still under development.
current setup :
- 6 channel class d amp, 300 watt rms/channel into 4Ohm speakers.
- 4 PCM1802a ADC's
- 3 TAS3103a DSP's
- 1 6 channel PCM1606 DAC
- µC PIC24HJ256GP206
- 2 oldschool vu - meters with rgb backlight😛
- 1 240x64 pixels graphical LCD screen (blue blacklight)
- self made rotary encoder (old ball mouse hacked😀)
- 1KW transformer with 6 x 10000µF caps
future plans :
- rewiring the unit (little messy now😱)
- replacing PCM1606 dac by DSD1794a
- adding s/pdif receiver for digital sound.

quick and dirty TA3020 enclosure
Just to get my shiny new Connex Electronics TA3020 v3c module audible safely I've quickly cased it up in a discarded industrial power supply case I found. I was even able to re-use the "hospital grade" emi filter and a lot of the wiring that was left inside.
This is just a "get it up and running" build. still need to add power leds, standby mode, on/off switch, shielded input cables and other assorted frills.

My first ever amp build, after hearing my friends Tripath i just had to have one 😀
Spec: Arjen helder TA2020, 3.5A SMPS and a custom made aluminium chassis 😉

onis_uk, very nice amp.
What camera did you take the photos on? they have a nice quality to them
I really don't like those little screw terminal used by connexelectronic. Would far prefer faston myself. I have bought a few things from them.

D60 a nice camera, all you need is a nice macro lens, 🙂
I had the D80 and loved it, probably will buy another D80 body and a nice 300mm lense.

A small size 2x20W class D amp
I just developed this amazing digital input, class D amp, based on the TI TAS5709.
It's working very well.
Size is 67x39mm
It's made as a plugable module with pins on the bottom side. The flat cable connector is used for the stereo output.
Greetings, Dan / Electrobrains
