As usual I was rushing into things! Sorry.
For convience, I once again give the links to the ProAc 2.5 clones.
Gravesen made a superb work on these speakers, which are a pair of "top of the shelf" floorstanders. Superb rewievs all over.
Here goes:

I made the version with the 9500 tweeter. It is Great, no doubt.
I didn't want to make the mods on the 8513 tweeter.
Also I didn't modify the 8535 Scanspeak bassdriver with Damar coating. The crossover is made excactly like Gravesen suggests, except I used big Polyprops and big aircores.
Please download the Clone papers for yourself and have a look.
It is a thoroughly well worked out piece of documentation. Just the thing for all us DIY'ers. Thanks Troels.🙂
Here is another good link on the Clones (even the name goes well with the GC😉 )

The originals cost a minor fortune!

Well, regarding the Zapsolute; it is the brainchild of the audio
genious Lars Clausen, well known in this forum.
Take a look at his homepage:

I have got the 2*50 watt dual mono Zapsolute. I think it is even on sale right now!! Really a bargain.
Hope this clear things up🙂

The most critical and experienced audio user in my environment, Mirko Kubala (his homepage http://www.jurapharmacy.com/mirko/?v=hi-fi) just visited me.

I am very pleased, as he began to smile totally relaxed after the first tones from Marla Glen.

He told me briefly: "I never heard such a good sounding FE103 up to now. And I heard a lot of them. Perfect bass, good mids and very clear highs. Absolutely nothing to critcise!"

BTW: I posted here some news from Dr. Andreas Buschhorn. He contacted me, after my "hard" judegment over the Buschhorn's.

Edit: we connected the Coral Beta 8 for comparison: some coloration (specially remarkable with human voices) was the main difference to the FE103. Some weaker bass...
