The boards are manufactured on 18 µm (usually) , in order to offer the cheapest possible price.
This is valid for FR4. Also can be 35 µm.
The CEM3 support (yellow one) has 25 µm (min 20 µm)
Of course that can be manufactured also on 70 µm copper , and even higher , but the price will be increased too much.
The BEST way : TINNING of boards and applying the solder on high amperage traces.
