Just a little correction, I know where the orig. schematics comes from.
The one posted at the first post was simplified (or modified) by me 2 decades a go, actually that was drawn by me! 🙂
I built different variant of these amp (some other DIT-ers to) over the years just to clear.
The last variation with different semiconductors and some tweak was far the best sounding amp I ever built..
Yes it had some thermal drift issue...
Will be back to these project before the end of these year.. I was unable to deal with because of my health issue but thank God getting better day by day..
I do not claim I am a top electronic guy or a guru but I learned a few thinks over the years....😀😀 thanks to all...
I think we hear to learn from each other at least some of us.
I do want to follow the thread....and I am happy if people benefit from my posts.🙂
Greetings
Great to hear from you and good to know that schematic is your own. Get well soon!
BOM for CFH7 Idefixes v1
Here is the BOM for the board that I built.

Thanks Andrew for finding mistake.
Your correction will also not work properly because I have made mistake on tracks connecting collector and emitter of BD139.
Sprint file with correction.
Hi Sonal,
Can you please provide the Gerbers for this layout? It's a beautiful layout worth making into a board. If not too much trouble, can you please add a 2.2k between the 10uF input cap and the input to the base of the BC556/546 transistors (this was the correction needed for proper RF suppression).
Thanks,
X

I second that idea! 🙂
Hi X,
as you are living with sevrel of latest design....wich would go for between Quasi_nmos and CFH7?
I have this latest CFH7 layout try by side. No more hole issue.....
Marc
They are both on my top 4 list so hard to say. The CFH7 is technically lower distortion and very clean and direct - good for more critical monitoring uses. The quasi is more "musical" and great for enjoyment. Both have great bass impact and nice mids. It's a toss up. 😉

Thanks for report......even if don't help me to choose😀😀😀

Btw, thanks for the revised layout. Looks great.

Hi Gaborbela,
How is the build coming along?

Gerber files for CFH7, 2.2k added to input. I have increased base stopper value to what Terry used in his build.
I also completed CFH9 layout this weekend, sprint has all the version of CFH7 and CFH9.

Thanks for the gerbers Sonal!
So the CHF9 should handle twice as much current as the CHF7, right?

Hi sonal,
I think there some mistake on mosfet marking.....IRFP240 on negative rail and IRPF9240 on positive rail..... Rails connector spad and marking are wrong

Thanks Marc, I totally missed those errors.
Reposting corrected gerber files of CFH7.
Those who downloaded sprint lay file rotate 4700uF capacitor on CFH7 ver1.07, CFH9 ver1.01, CFH9 ver1.02 layout. Move +ve and -ve sign to correct tab.

Thank you, Sonal ! When you have a moment please post CFH9 Gerber.
