Mayby the layout is a bit misleading but I would move the right mounting hole more towards the corner. An M3 screwhead is minimum 6mm in diameter also the overall diameter of a hexagonal M3 stand-off is 6 a 7mm. With the mounting hole as is, the screw and stand-off will touch Q1 and his solderpads.

Once you get these designed and made, notify me and I'll buy a sheet. Regards, Bill.

I am trying to set the current with a DMM at the cathode of a tube (6c45)I am using led bias, but! If I want 15mA trough the tube,do I have to add the current drawn by the Led as well?15ma + say 10mA?🙄
I´ve solved the above.🙂
But now I wonder if anyonne tried the LM329 instead of the first Led in the CCS?Hope the LM329 doesn´t have the same problem with niose that Zeners do,anyone?🙄

OK guys,
the fire is under me to get more boards out (because i just shipped the last prototype board (except for SY's personal stash) off to the UK.
This last round of discovery has had some major steps forward. We now have a universal board with half the footprint of the prototypes.
Now, where to get them made, and how to gang them to get the best value board possible.
Suggestions please. Board foundries & the best way to use their pricing structure to our advantage.

How is the board price figured now days? By the sq in and number of holes?
Personally I would like a minimum of 6 - 12 boards. If prepayment would help the process then why not consider paypal payment for the orders. This way no one has to front the money to get the ball rolling.
One last thing.... as time draws near for this to turn into reality I believe a hearty thank you is due to those responsible.
So, Thanks Guys!

Any layout to show us?🙂We now have a universal board with half the footprint of the prototypes.
If people want, I might just put an array of 1mm holes in for mounting, then the user can just open out whichever ones they want. Comments?

Not a bad idea at all.

OK, so how many circuits do you want on a board? Six, ten, twelve? Get that sorted then I can get the gerbers to Dave, (planet 10) so he can get a quote together.
I'd like to get this PCB knocked on the head so I can crack on with other projects.

What i am suggesting is that different foundries might have different sweet spots (not having dealth with any i have no real idea).
ie if a foundry can most effectively manufacure 3"x6" boards you'd gang 18. If it was 4x5 you'd do 20...

Hi Dave, what trim pot model fits the board I bought from you? I'd be ordering from RS Components and I see a lot of them. Some looks it will fit, but I want to make sure and not waste it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Sorry. too many projects, plus my life took a stumble last week.
Still need suggestions for board vendors. I did get a base quote of $10/board for a 4x5 board (20 circuits) + shipping & handling from Asia. Minimum of 25 pieces. No setup charge.
