Hi,
Are these the same boards as described in the beginning of this thread? I know they are different physically, but are they the same electrically? Does the original documentation still apply? Sorry for the questions, but the thread is long and am not sure of the differences between the beginning and the end of this thread.
Regards,
Danny

Yes. Some enterprising fellows just figured out how to make the board universal & half the size.

Is there a plan to prototype the new design before production, or are we confident enough to proceed?

yes, we are confident enuff to proceed. The circuit is simple, widely used and the boards are a simple evolution from the earlier test batch.

I took the liberty of adding those who just chimed in, but please verify the info (ie i set everyone to a 2 board minimum for the moment)

Would it be a good idea if the person(s) who is running a group buy included the link to the wikipage in his signature for the duration of the GB? I would definately appreciate it!
cheers

Guys & Gals,
I'm not getting much done these days on this... i'm now on my 11th day in December with no power (in 2 outages)
I'll push forward once i've got power & caught up.
The protos, and the US quote earlier are from Advanced.

I need to remove myself from the list as I lost my job last week (employer actually went belly up) and need to watch my funds rather more closely now.. Will edit when I have an ok to do so..

No progress made. I was without power for 16 days in December & am playing catch up. If someone wants to help by doing some of the board vendor shopping...
dave
bf, I still have quite a few of the older boards if you want to get going in a hurry. Email me if interested.
Kevin, sorry to hear that. Good luck with the search...

I do now (for the last 2 days) ,,, it was hard to figure out how to afford that given my current state of poverty (and it doesn't do much good internet wise if the cable & phone lines are down too)
