Thanks for your reply! Sorry by mini I mean 1 sub 2 mid tops (to start). Realise these are not small cabinets.
I make dubstep so and this rig is primarily for studio use + the occasional small party so happy to sacrifice some spl for that 30hz extension.
Are there any other mid / cheap drivers that would work well in this design?
Thanks again!

Sorry was actually this 6 fold design I was referring to. Noting @Xoc1 used 18TbX100s with the compression plate.I have something that i collected in my stash of SUB plans
browsing trough all the FT30 thread
it was XOC1 who made something called the 6FOLD TH
basically it was his TH18 but moded to hit 30Hz and no cone correction
just plain folding AKA. the SS15
i can UL the plans if you like
he added a compression plate ( like the CV L36) cause he used the 18TBX100
but i guess you can remove it for the PD driver
and btw, the PD 1845.n2 sims great !
Does anyone have cnc files for this design with bracing in metric?
Would be greatly appreciated. I don’t have the skills or tools to cut those mitres manually. Thanks all!
I suggest you make a new thread and call it something like
Paging XOC1 6 fold plan compression plate
Then you ask about it
It is not clear to me who built it
Or if somebody can help with
What you need.
Kind regards.

Thanks man. Have been back through this thread and think I’m gonna make the FT30 that crescendo made as it’s tried and tested and cnc files available. It doesn’t look like anyone made the xoc1 6fold version.
I don’t suppose anyone has the cnc files in metric? Not sure if that’s something that can be converted by the cnc place in the software?
Also - someone suggested the B&C 18TBW100 sim’d well and I can get that for £275 which is ok. Will I need to make any adjustments to fit that driver?
Sorry for the noob questions. Just don’t want to get this wrong! I can’t believe more people haven’t made this cab. I been searching for a genuine 30hz design for ages. Thought paraflex was the answer until you see the spl graphs. I have REW and mic so happy to post results once built in case anyone else finds that helpful for a single cab.
Huge thanks for your help! 🤓

Anytime amigo, we will be looking for those building pics and audio graphs once you fire the beast up.
similar but not equal cut out hole size measurement.
on the B&C web site the specs for the 18TBW100 baffle hole is:
Baffle Cutout Diameter
18SW115 shows an identical cut hole size.
you can get that driver 😀
you only need to make sure the baffle hole fits your choice of driver you will be using, remember that each driver haveWill I need to make any adjustments to fit that driver?

i do not think so, you stick to the plan, the only big difference is the XMAX of the 18SW115 vs the 18TBW100, as long you do not exceed the xmax of the driver or be within spec, you are okWill I need to make any adjustments to fit that driver?
