I was just about to do the same thing, then I noticed that a newer kit coming out.😨😭😭 It is my turn to say BaaadPa! I’ve just colected all parts for Zenductor 1.
I got a room over at the Quality Inn, it's about the same price as the Best Western but a little more up the street.. not much more.
BTW, I asked once, but I'm afraid I've been too busy with life.
Do we have to pay to buy the build kit? T-shirt?

Patience grasshopper; when you can take this pebble from my hand you will be ready.Man Of Few Words.
Where?
How?
I drive Hondas... I don't need patience... I hit the redline consistently.
My motto is I May Be Lost, But I'm Getting There Fast.
The apex is my target.
So, I take it the information is forthcoming?
Vrrooooommmm....
;=)
Hmm... I just realized I could have used some of my Alaska Air miles and flown from John Wayne to George Schultz. An unlikely combination but nowhere cartoonish, pardner...

I also notice that we're entirely in the 'top' half of the facility which I think will work better for us, and that the talks are in a smaller but plenty large enough room that will be easier to work with.
Yes, but I noted the 8:30AM starting time.
I guess we're dealing with the hardware guys here... software folks usually start at 10AM. 🖥️

Any word yet on the nature of the amp and speaker camp projects?
Local info: Weill Hall on the Sonoma State University campus was modeled after the Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, by the same design team. Unfortunately, there are no concerts scheduled there that weekend (Emanual Ax will be doing a solo recital on 10/24).

Serious question? Clearly those will provided for free for every attendee... How could it be any other way? 😉Do we have to pay to buy the build kit? T-shirt?

Heh. Funny how cultures like that set up. At National/TI design engineers would show around 9-10AM. Layout engineers got in at 7.30AM. There was no practical reason for this. It was just how folks liked to work.I guess we're dealing with the hardware guys here... software folks usually start at 10AM. 🖥️

We paid for the ticket... I recall they asked me for my size up front.
Last year.
Sorry - a modification to my prior post. The excellent Santa Rosa Symphony will be performing on BA24 weekend, with a "Beethoven & Copland" program in Weill Hall! They'll also be premiering a new piece they co-commissioned, as part of their ongoing commitment to expanding the classical repertoire. More info available by following the above link, but basically, they always do:
Saturday afternoon - "Discovery Rehearsal", less formal, more economical, a great opportunity to see how an orchestra prepares
Saturday evening, Sunday matinee, Monday evening - formal performances
The conductor gives a 30 minute "concert conversation" one hour before each of the formal performances, usually accompanied by the featured soloist and/or composer.
