Yup! That is as much as I know! But Nelson promises that more information will be forthcoming
WooHooo... see your there.
Will the Zenductor say "The First Five Watts"?

Caught me by surprise, but I did manage to get tickets for both days!
See ya.

Purchased my two day ticket. I will be there on the 29th. Tom please let me know what I can do. Thank you for all of the work to get this done. Bill
No, we will have 15 soldering stations along with multi-meters, pliers, wire strippers, etc.Do I need to take any tools with me?

Planning to come and show a system. Will we be able to set up on Saturday, leaving it overnight until Sunday?
The Community Center says we can leave our stuff overnight in the registration/break room, but I don't know how tight the security is at night. I'm not worried about my stuff, but you might think twice about really high-value items.

Thanks
I've been meaning to go to BA for eons... this is gonna be fun.
If you need help setting up or shutting down let me know, PM me. I'll be there likely late in the evening on Friday but I plan to spend Sunday night there.
Hmm... how late are the events running on Sunday?
Will you need helpers for debugging, trouble-shooting of builds? No, we will have 15 soldering stations along with multi-meters, pliers, wire strippers, etc.

I am sure that would be helpful. Jim Tiemann (6L6) will be guiding the builders.

And Nelson claims this will be the simplest yet.
Great. That means 90% of builds will burst into flames... So says Murphy. 🙂And Nelson claims this will be the simplest yet.
Joking aside, I'm happy to swing by and help those who're stuck. Shoot the breeze with those who aren't. 🙂

Well, I was thinking that since my soldering station is a bit old I might bring in an arc welder. I could likely do a "wave soldering" in one pass.
I guess it's good you folks provide the tools.

I've been considering an offshoot to the plan mention in post #175 of this thread, namely: pickled fresh Thai hot peppers. I bought some at the farmers market about 2 weeks ago, and made up a test batch which has been sitting quietly in the fridge until this morning. Upon tasting them, I think this preliminary result just might have some promise. Of all the ingredients in the brine, it seems the Szechwan peppercorns sing loudest in the final pickle. And boy howdy are they hot. Hopefully I can tweak up the recipe and make some suitably tasty peppers in time for B.A.F. Fingers crossed.
