building boxes for speakers

I was writing before shadowplay62's post came in that I think the questions being asked here exhibit a beginner's need for confirmation and reassurance.

Here is picture of the first speaker box and the amplifier box

The amplifier box I made it too big.. But works just fine!
Also the speaker sound not bad at all

If you are talking about the loudspeaker box construction in this thread, silicone adhesive is used because the plywood is very thin (3.6 mm).

This method gives a neat finish, avoiding the need to glue in wood battens which would be required if one wanted to use screws.
