Looks very well built.
I have to have bass , treble loudness and a phono pre option in there. Cd amplifier is useful as it could boost a phone signal

From the BOM C8, C11 are 47 uF, 35V. Mouser part is 80-C2220C476M3R2C which is 25V.
With PSU voltage of +/- < 20 V its should be ok.
The real problem seems to be the availability of KSA1381E/D.

Hi Joel,
Use JLCPCB, much better pricing.
Never a problem with quality😉

😱 That’s the reason I don’t order at the PCBway. When I upload the Gerbers at PCBway it shows 4 layers - is this correct? also, $98 for 5
It is only 29 $ + shipping at JLCPCB.
Color by choice (purple 🙂) and all 4 layers with 1 oz copper - 50.33 $
Thanks! Most of mine have been under 100x100mm at $5 for 10. Larger than that PCB way price rises significantly
Thank you once again Tombo. I'm finally going to be proceeding with this build. Does anyone have boards they want to sell / split the cost with?
I expect them to be the proper equivalent devices, but haven’t used them anywhere. Instead, I recommend to use TTA004B/TTC004B. They are perfect replacement in this case.KTA1381/KTC3503 - Are these devices suitable for Q2-Q7?
As in this design, Q2-Q7 are not in any usual VAS or differential input role, they don’t need to be matched. All measurements were made with unmatched devices.
Higher hfe is a good thing.
Luckily, bias is not dependent on hfe variation, so nothing to worry about.
