Well done Leon.
Hi Brain,i need the 4-Channel S/PDIF (or AES-EBU) Input Module part lists and manual, can't solder without the part list.
Thanks
You can find info in the guide that Leon uploaded.
See page 12 of the guide. It's actually a quite simple module. Just check the values of R1-R4 you need to use.
At the last minute, I included the resistors for AES/EBU (110R), in addition to S/PDIF (75R) in the kits.
So that leaves 10K for TTL (which is far less likely to be needed). What would be a good suggestion? Mouser 299-10K-RC?

Sure.
Ok, I've just updated the guide with a few minor corrections and additions. There was just one real glitch: direct DSD stereo input. That should have included setting the Input remapping switch to ON.

how about the resistor come with the "Trident Regulators",every package got one extra resistor .
Thanks
As the resistor label suggests, it's R4 and needs to be mounted on the Trident. It sets the shunting current.

Thanks Brian,
I still can't find all resistor and capacitor value for 4-Channel S/PDIF (or AES-EBU) Input ,please help .

You got the kit, correct? All the parts are individually labelled with the ResDef (part numbers) from the board.

yes, label as R1,R2.. no value stated on the board, that why need the part list.
Nice to receive email confirmation that my BIII has shipped
I'm wondering if Brian combined the two separate orders together though? The second order contains only the 4 channel SPDIF module, which i didn't realize i needed until after the first BIII stampede rush.. so i paid double the shipping. Will i be refunded for the extra shipping payment?
Brian, as you requested, I sent you an email regarding this but haven't heard from you. Is anything wrong? Thanks

You are sAying there is on silk screen on your circuit board?

yes, i need to know the pcb R1 to Rz are what value ,also the capacitors is what value ofr C1 to Cz,that why i asking for the parts list.
thanks
Well, here's the parts list. I am still not quite sure what you will gleen from it that you don't get on the part labels, but I've been up for almost three days straight, so that's probably not surprising.... 🙄
Thanks Brain,I can start work now.

Hi Leon and Brain ,if without the 4 -Channls S/PDIF (or AES-EBU) Input Module ,can the BIII work with just one input for PDIF ?
Thanks
If it is TTL-level - yes.Hi Leon and Brain ,if without the 4 -Channls S/PDIF (or AES-EBU) Input Module ,can the BIII work with just one input for PDIF ?
Thanks
The BIII itself can work with up to 8 TTL level S/PDIF inputs. Switching between them is possible using a microcontroller (fi. AC2) that sets the selected input. I plan to go into more detail in the AC2 integration guide.
This is covered in the guide. See the chapter: Input options for the DAC module. I understand it's quite a read, but most topics are covered. Please read everything well before you build the S/PDIF-4 Input Board.
