It is compared to mosfet outputs, the n channel is never as good with current as the p, complimentary v-fets outputs being the exception. That is why "todays" mega amps that can do the big current continuously and close to double down to 2ohm even 1ohm are still BJT Bi-polar.

You need to look, you will be enlightened.

Beside the Gryphon, Krell, D'Agostino etc, another one Solution BJT amp To keep doubling like this they are not being current limited by their power supply or output stage.
135W into 8 ohms (21.3dBW),
260W into 4 ohms (21.1dBW),
490W into 2 ohms (20.9dBW).

Classic BJT from yesteryear was the Mark Levinson ML2 Monoblocks
These could drive without breaking a sweat the evil load of ML ESL's, unlike most class-D's that just turn off very early.
25w into 8ohm (class-A)
50w into 4ohm
100w into 2ohm
200w into 1ohm

You were correct, apologizing when you said this, don't screw it up

All did is post up a new Bruno Class-D module for all here to look at, nowhere else, and I was impressed with the 4 to 2ohm wattage figure if it can be believed.
