Brian Steele's tapped horn with Skar Audio DDX12

I wonder if this somewhat over damped lossless sim might be kind of light on the low notes in reality?

Even more so as HR doesn't take all losses into account, i.e. the measured responses of a typical TH sim's strong high Q peaking tends to be flat to slightly over damped, so if simmed over damped.......

That said, if tuned lower and in a corner can be a fine performer.

So that's the real parameters..or you fried the driver 😜
It’s fine, I’m surprised. It got beat pretty hard in that obnoxious high compression (175cm2–> 550cm2) low tuned Resonator paraflex screamer. Really fatiguing to listen to…

the Fs is 5 hz higher than ASSumed and the Qts is about 0.1 higher. I broke my scale while manufacturing ecStacy pills laced with viagara or I’d measure the Vas to see if it’s still tight 😝

Well for me corner load is not an option
Pal12 then ? Or poc3 with something else than the DDX12
Understood, it's just a sim graphically showing some info I posted to BW.

Don't keep up with what all is available as there's way too many options nowadays; in the '60s -early '80s there was little to choose from and driver cost within a narrow range of choices normally set this DIYer's design.

What do you recommend driver wise for those designs
