Alex,
Would it be advisable to use the PCB terminal strips or go straight in with wire? What is the max gauge in that case?

Hi Allex.
I read your article and saw some fascinating pictures of you amp.
I also have problems driving my 4ohm speakers and this is one of the reasons why I’m interested of purchasing 2x pa150 pcb from you. Does this offer still stand?
Keep me advised.
Best regards

short circuit protection
anyone had experience with circuit breakers on the a/c input. i can not seem to find one that will mount to the rear panel of the chassis cabinet.

Hi,
the US is probably different, but we could cut off a short section of DIN mounting rail and then clip on a standard MCB (miniature circuit breaker). But most would prefer the simpler T rated fuse.

what do you mean by the t rated type. you know the one i am trying to find it is cylindrical with threaded body and nut similar to the way an rca jack mounts. i might be typing in the wrong phrase at digikey but can not find what i need. thankis

I should have replied sooner but these boards by Alex are top quality. If this project sounds interesting to anyone, I think you shouldn't hesitate at the price of these boards.
Hi,
T rated fuse means anti-surge=slow blow eg T4A
T rated fuse means anti-surge=slow blow eg T4A
sounds like you are looking for a fuse holder.cylindrical with threaded body and nut

I think you replied to the wrong thread. This belongs in the other half of BPA300.

Re: Re: alex88 bpa300
Steve at Apex.jr had some in that package. I got a couple from him for a one time project. Still have one left if a picture would help identify it.

Those were just regular LM3886 with the pins bent so it would lay flat.
