This was the HO pin right off the 2184 this is the mains scope with the handheld I was not getting anything. I had the handheld referenced to neg rail still, with testing the high side should it be referenced to pos rail?
The high-side reference is the negative battery terminal at this point.
Do you have a square wave on the input terminal of the 2184?

Absolutely nothing on pin 1 of the 2184 checking with handheld scope ref to negative rail. nothing on high side when referenced to battery ground it is just sitting 8v above GND on the scope :/
When working with these ICs, you have to start at the LM211 to confirm that it's producing a signal. If yes, you mve towards the 2184. If not, you look the other way. Remember that you need to drive a signal into the amp and you need the 10k feedback resistor on the TL072.
Thank you perry I do apologize for my lack of knowledge. I will install the 10k feedback resistor on the tl072c may I ask what does this do ? Also when I am testing for these drive signals on pin1 of the 2184 and Lo and High out should i always be driving a signal into the amp?
When injecting 53hz signal to rca I get the following
1. 53hz square wave pin 1 of IRS2184
2. 53 HZ square wave on LO output from IRS2184
2. 53hz square wave on pin 7 of LM211
3. 53 HZ square wave on 072c Pin 7 / Clean since wave 50hz with 10k feedback resistor connected
4. Nothing on highside output,
1. 53hz square wave pin 1 of IRS2184
2. 53 HZ square wave on LO output from IRS2184
2. 53hz square wave on pin 7 of LM211
3. 53 HZ square wave on 072c Pin 7 / Clean since wave 50hz with 10k feedback resistor connected
4. Nothing on highside output,

Seems it is getting signal all the way through the chain up to pin 1 on the irs2184 and out to the LO side gate. I notice no difference on the HO when applying the 9v strangely enough . Does a square wave on the LO out indicate a good low side drive signal ( is it possible the amp needs rca input sig to generate low side drive?
Could the high side 4452's being fitted have an effect? The 1.5k resistors are still lifted. I am probing at pin 7 to check high side drive on the IRS2184.
I've never checked the temperature of that transistor but as long as you have a good input to the 2184, it's probably not a concern.
What did you do to allow the low-side to start producing output?
Are you using the battery powered scope?

The lowside generates output whenever their is an input signal on the RCA. It's been this way since we were troubleshooting.
Yes using the battery powered scope, when I apply power to the 2184 while driving a signal into the amp is just see the HO output go high but no square wave .

Is this with the negative scope probe on the negative terminal of the 9v battery and the positive (probe tip) on the HO terminal of the 2184?
